Me too i'm going to have to start burning stuff to DVD for archiving: My 200G HD has gone from having 50G free to 38G free in a matter of a few days Or maybe a external HD.

I do that too. I burn a drama on disc AND save it on an external. I'm always afraid I'll scratch a disc and therefore lose the stuff on it.
