I might switch back to Nero 5.5 as well. An interesting new feature in the newest Nero is overburning DVD's, though from what I read it doesn't work yet. But I'll bet it'll be buggy even when it does work... Shake Head

didn't know that was even possible. I always believed that you can't overburn at all for DVDs even 1 mb! But then again, even if I could, I wouldn't

RTO = Rent To Own, I remember a bunch of stores opened up like this and they had advertisements on TV. But I think they all went out of business so my second choice would be IKEA... tho its rather expensive....

Good thing I didn't switch to Nero 6.0. I installed it when it first came out, but got rid of it because I thought the UI was horrible. Good thing I stuck with the last stable build before 6.x. They should have really called it Nero 6.x BETA. hehe

IIRC, you're going to SFSU, right? Well, if worst comes to worst, you can always check out this section of craigslist.

Service jobs are actually the most challenging because you never know what to expect.

I do Technical Support and it amazes me how some people are dumb... with using their computers, that is, but other than that they're nice people

I'm leaning that way... There's a number of firmware updates and a region hack for it hehe

In a way, yes. There's apparently some restriction embedded in the firmware to inhibit/slow down copying of DVDs and the hack allows full speed copying, etc...

Here's the link: http://pioneerdvd.rpc1.org/

YES!!!!! The U.S. Supreme Court made a ruling today to UPHOLD the phrase, "one nation, under God" in the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance.

Indeed. Thank God!!!!

Thetenken! Where you stay? Would like to hear your thoughts on this one! Is my happiness premature? A-OK? Looks great to me. I mean, a U.S. Supreme Court ruling! How can I find out if it was made with prejudice, or not?

So, the Supreme Court is holding that the guy who brought the case before them had no standing.

Well, I guess the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Knights of Columbus can rest easy.

The Pledge of Alliegance gets to remain a "PUBLIC PRAYER" rather than simply being a Patriotic Oath.

It's a shame though that the changes to the Oath; the one the DAR brought up in 1923 changing "my flag" to "the Flag"", and the one the Knights of Columbus brought before congress in 1954, adding the words, "Under God", so completely change the meaning of the oath itself.

The original Oath as written by the Rev. Francis Bellamy in 1892:

" I pledge allegiance to my Flag and (to*) the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Remember when it was written. This guy grew up during the Civil War. "One Nation, Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

"One nation" Not the Union, and those six traitor states. Not New York, and the pilot fish that call themselves states.

One Nation, indivisible. I say again, this is not long after the Civil War.

This is during the period when people started to refer to America as "The" United States as opposed to "These" United States.

"Under God"?

Look, you can try to label me a looney liberal... but here's my problem. I'm willing to pledge my allegiance to the republic that flag stands for. And I'm big on liberty and justice for all.

But I don't believe in God any more than I believe in Santa Clause.

And to take it a step further, I'm damned if I'll swear allegiance to a nation that tries to force a particular religious concept down my throat.

See, I believe in the idea of the seperation of Church and State.
