hahaha yea, it wasn't even close. I thought it would be more of a game but congrats to Larry Brown and his team. That guy totally deserved it! 21 years of coaching and he gets his ring! I sorta feel bad for Malone though, maybe next year for him.

Yep. They clearly and convincingly outplayed the Lakes. Sad.

I think he's jinxed, just like Payton. I don't think they'll ever get a ring... It's like Elgin Baylor from the 60's-70's Lakers: They never won a championship in Los Angeles, then he retires midway through the 1971 season and they win it all... Go figure.

yea maybe kick those 2 out
I'm sure Payton is gone, you can tell from his body language that he won't be back. I'm not sure what Malone will do. Payton could always join up with my Kings Or hec come over to the warriors!

I was telling everyone at work that they shouldnt have traded for "the glove" and "the mailman"... that just too many star players.... plus one of them is freakin old... they should have stuck with last year's team.... _________________

Well, they basically did have last year's team except for Mark Madsen... And he wasn't the difference... They got beat 'cause the other team was more athletic and wanted it a whole lot more....
I know Phil's Lakers won three in a row and all that, but I think Magic's Lakers of the 80's would/could whip the crap out of any of these teams: they would just run, run, and run you into the ground. And if you wanted to play half court, you'd have to deal with Kareem. That's the Laker team I miss...

I think the 80's team was before my time, but I remember the lakers with Magic, byron scott, ac green, elden campbell... those guys were old school to me.... _________________
