I couldn't transfer files to my mp3 player after SP2. Except that, I didn't experience any problems. But anyways, I'm back to SP1.

security, schekurity. i just d/l sp2 and now my machine can't recognize my modem, and thus no web access.

Called verizon (dsl provider) and they basically said to call Micro$oft because they can still send signals to my modem.

1st thing i'm gonna do when i get home is to remove the SP2.
And yet another reason why I'm sticking with Win2K-SP4... Smile
uninstalled it, and it works like a charm. DO NOT mess with SP2!!!

I've installed SP2 (on XP Pro) with no problems. I don't think this board acurately reflects the "success" rate of SP2. Most online reviews still recommend installing it. I've even heard of problems with Divx and SP2 and I haven't yet encontered that problem either.

I have verizon as well and haven't noticed any issues. You can check Verizon's network status here:

I had no idea they glow cuz it doesn't work in Opera browser. All the buttons are in the glow state regardless.
