If you wait for it to come out on DVD it will come out as TWO movies (yep). They originally made a version of the prequel and later decided they didn't like it at all. They subsequently re-made the ENTIRE film over again using some different cast, a different director, and a comlpetely new story. Both version (the theatricval and scrapped versions) will be available in the DVD set when it comes out.
