will wait to see when no registered user is online .... wld be interesting

I remember the days when that used to happen. Nowadays, I never see only 1 registered user on line. Back around a year and a half ago, I can remember when at around 2:30am Hawaii Time, I was the only the registered user on line. And this went on for months... ashamed

that is not very many people at all.....one register online, would that only be you at the time? 2:30am, that would be 5:30am here in LA area, and 8:30am in NY area, good thing now more people are posting and on the forum. Applaud

better to play with friends live, and not online...that would be boring for me. Then again i don't really gamble, to gamble is to lose.
unless it is a good gamble and a good calculated risk. Bonk

It seems my DVD burner has finally almost fully kicked the bucket. NEC, kiss my big @$$. It has been giving me problems for about 9 months now (since 4 months after I got it), and my warranty was only going to give me something similar but poopier and refurbished. bleh

So, although I couldn't afford it, I had to go and charge a new DVD burner because my drive has a lot on it that I need to backup. I went up to Best Buy and bought the Pioneer DVR-509, one of the few burners they had with minimal poor reviews (mostly excellent ones). It was $119 plus it has a $30 mail-in rebate.

Wish me luck guys! I have to install this sucker soon, hopefully it'll be painless. I've installed a drive before but on another computer, so hopefully I won't fork this up hehe

DVR-509? 16X DL burner? The model number doesn't sound familiar. Head Scratch

Yeah, it's a dual layer burner. 16x for DVD+/-R, but 6x for dual layer. I pretty much got it for the Pioneer name and the positive reviews. Hopefully this won't be junk like my last burner.
