went to Mitsuwa and the JTB travel agency inside had flights going from LAX to TOKYO, United Airlines, for $450 round trip, until late August Doh! how tempting, how tempting...but i would rather fly JAL, ANA, or Singapore airlines to Tokyo. Thumbsup

No way! I wonder if the price difference is much flying out of SFO. Hmm since my wife is on summer vacation, maybe I will take some days off from work... Head Scratch

you might want to inquire about the air fare amounts with the JTB travel agency, if they have on in your mitsuwa, or check online, or call them. I am sure they might have some good airfare prices out of SFO.
Ganbatte Kudasai. Thumbsup

She's at home (a teacher). It's just that if we want to travel before school starts, it will have to begin within the next couple of weeks.

so i guess you don't have the house by yourself then. speaking of which i gotta do some MAJOR cleanup before she comes back...

that must be nice tho, being a teacher allows them to have the whole summer off.

She needs the time to relax....her kids worked her last nerve throughout the year. I've heard the stories...I don't think I would last as a teacher.

I know. Makes me glad (somewhat) to be working for corporate America. There are some things that I would do differently, maybe later in life. Big Grin

kinda makes you wanna get to retirement age, so one can really enjoy life instead of working for "the man". (no, not the hawaiian user "the man" here, hahahaha...)

Haha hehe . I know. The early retirement package they have here is very tempting indeed. But since I'm nowhere near that point, it's all meaningless to me.
