I'd be so surprised if Aya knew that line.
Yes it means I love you. Usually used by girls.....not sure if guys use it. Maybe if they are saying it to girls older then them, though I think they still say anh  _________________

@Krim: I'm going over there to visit my grandma Going to be my first time seeing her and my mom's side of family. I think I'm spending X-mas in Saigon, if not it'll be at my mom's hometown. I never heard of a vietnamese delis closing for a month  _________________

I went to school with one of the kids, and they used to take off for a month during summer break... now that everyones outta school, they take off all of January.
the place is always full, and yeah, they're the only ones i know that make enough to close for an entire month. AND still have the customers loyal enough not to change to another place while they close.
btw, say hi to grandma for me too.
