Hm...I've never really thought of places I wanted to visit before. I want to go to a hot spring but that's not the same as wanting to go to a certain city or something.
I thought about going to Japan as an exchange student but that didn't quite work out because my university (or maybe just my faculty?) doesn't do exchanges with Japan.
I think I'm going to teach English in Japan after I graduate from university. I know several people who've done this. The cost of living is high, the pay isn't, and I'll end up with no savings but it'll be a great experience.
u might as well check the japan embassy website, they might have a link for scholarship from their ministry of education available, u might save alot.
as of place to i want to visit, hmm... well let me think what i missed...
disney sea, bandai museum, hakone, kamakura, eto... hokkaido (?) , might as well put okinawa and osaka on my list... but my priority will be okinawa and all the book off stores out there _________________
I juz on my comp n i already c some dls being blocked...i seriously tink there's either something wrong wif YSI or someone's bieing mean by deliberatly blocking d links cos there'd dis 'Block this link' button at d bottom of each dl link...or maybe i tink too much but aniways, Can someone please re-u/l d Utaban one n d Crazy-Aiba part 1??? I've been looking into a few places that specialize in teaching English. Depending on which company/school you work for, you can have the opportunity to teach people from little children to adults. So, yes, there is the chance (however small it may be) that I could teach a Jr. It's a really great opportunity though. Most contracts are for one year and they provide (or find) housing for you plus pay for transportation. The pay isn't terrific but it's enough to get by. You need a university degree for most of these jobs and since I'm two years away from graduating, I've still got time to decide where I want to work. I'd like to teach either high school age or adults though. I love little kids, they're great to play with, but difficult to teach.
wow ... the idea of teaching english in japan! when i was young, i never considered teaching as one of my career options. but hey, after watching Gokusen, the prospect seems very interesting. of course i dont hope for a classful of 3 nen D (tho one or two student like sawada shin might be a plus... )
they should have a special teacher who would teach arashi members (with exception of sho of course...) on how to communicate in english... man, i saw one tvshow(waza ari, i supposed...) where this one guest tried to have a decent english conversation with ohno and aiba... my god... i cant believe it... i guess arashi's fans dont have any choice but to learn japanese... haha...no fair... but i guess they've succeeded in 'brainwashing' me... i took beginner's lesson this semester, after 3 months-ful of learning japanese on my own (with the help from my twin, of course!). anyone else who suddenly had the impulse to learn japanese, after knowing arashi too?
fyi, the character for arashi was the first kanji i've learnt, and it made me wanna memorize more kanji... i used to think that it was impossible unless if u're chinese...

actually, embarrassingly, i did a yr of japanese like 10 yrs ago. coz i'm a HUGE manga addict. at that time, there wasn't soooo many mangas translated into chinese (which thank god i'm pretty fluent at). btw, I have nearly 1000 - 2000 mangas, think i lost count.
but unfortunately i had no friends to converse/practise with in japanese, and the mangas are slowly being translated to mandarin. so i gave up studying japanese... now i regret dat so much...
moral of the story is, never give up on something coz you may need it in 10 yrs time... haha...

hehe...yup, that's a good advice, fybabe... i'll make sure i'll put that in my harddisk, or better yet, burn it cd so that if my harddisk crashed, i'll still have the backup copy (just a lil joke, considering so many pple are doing this to their arashi files...)
i started learning japanese last year, but i didn't want to go classes since i thought that it would steal the fun out of learning languages. so my twin and i studied by ourselves, with the help of beginners books, phrases books, dictionaries and by watching infinite supplies of jdoramas! but by then i only knew hiragana, katakana(most of the time i'd forget) and i dont trust myself with kanji since i thought it would be too overwhelming. then just a 3 months ago, after i've known arashi, the knowledge that i have on japanese(language, culture, pple, entertainment...etc) started to multiply like crazy. then the first kanji i learnt was arashi, even how the character was derived is totally interesting to me (mountain on top of the wind). the rest is history...
at home, my twin and i totally drive our family crazy. i started calling my sawada shin-like bro "happi-kun" (my bro's name's Hafiz), then often talking to each other using japanese phrases that we've known. even sometimes when my bro called me on the phone, he would say "Moshi-moshi...ogenki-desu ka?" now that i'm back in university, my friends would have to listen to me talking non-sensically in Japanese(nonsensically to them, full-of-sense to me...)

I just want to shout out my LOVE for KONSEKI by NINO
Gawd I love this song. I know that Nino doesn't hav the nicest voice, (sumtimes I wish i have the minus one version so that I could sing it myself) but he sang this song with heart which just grabs my attention.
The song has a very japanese feel in it and the words are beautiful *ahhh..*
Thank you God for giving Nino his talents:)
EDIT: Thank you enazekinaz for reuploading
Hopefully I'll be able to upload it this time

did u realize that Nino's voice sort of 'vibrates'?... before this, it's sometimes hard to differentiate between his and ohno's in songs... but after i discovered this significant revelation...no more problem... my bro said that his voice is unique that way... at first i thought that this was his weakness, but now i think it's actually his trademark, and i kinda like it like this. tho i don't think anyone else can pull that sort of voice. Yatta, Nino...

I'm starting to call my bro Syafi-kun (his name is syafiq) tho' his not as cool as sawada shin like yo bro. He kinda looks like that guy from shota no shushi (cant rem his name..) but gangly-quirky-weirder version of that guy. He gonna kill me if he knew I'm talking about him in this forum.
He love the A no Arashi segments. I'v only seen 2 A no arashi segments..is there more? He is also amazed at Ohno-chan eating abilities.
Love to learn japanese myself, but currently i'm broke. Can't even afford to buy DIY NihonGo books.

take yr time!
ysi hates me today... i cant seem to have any decent dl or ul at all...
as for my near 2000 mangas, it's not dat hard to collect, since each story lasts around 30-40 books normally jdramas are short n sweet, but not de comics! and if you were to collect say 5-10 stories at a go for 10++++ yrs, about 1 - 2 books per story per month, you'll get about my number of mangas anyway. all my friends are collectors of something... my ex-bf has 10000++++ records. i think i also have about 1000 cds?...
