I just want to shout out my LOVE for KONSEKI by NINO
Gawd I love this song. I know that Nino doesn't hav the nicest voice, (sumtimes I wish i have the minus one version so that I could sing it myself) but he sang this song with heart which just grabs my attention.
The song has a very japanese feel in it and the words are beautiful *ahhh..*
Thank you God for giving Nino his talents:)
I also love Konseki. Although Nino is not the best favor of me. I love this most of other solo in iza now concert.

All time fav performances:
1. 'right back to you' from the iza concert. watched it like 50 times already. never got sick of it.
2. 'Pikanchi' live performance at some variety show or smting, where they all looked tanned and delicious and their hair all spiked up. may be a nama arashi segment? dunno (not the one with nino playing guitar.)
3. any Hadashi no Mirai performance
4. 'la familiar' jun solo in the iza concert
5. basically the whole iza concert
btw, i like the song Konseki too. But i would prefer Ohno singing it. Nino's voice makes me cringe sometimes...
I'm starting to call my bro Syafi-kun (his name is syafiq) tho' his not as cool as sawada shin like yo bro. He kinda looks like that guy from shota no shushi (cant rem his name..) but gangly-quirky-weirder version of that guy. He gonna kill me if he knew I'm talking about him in this forum.
He love the A no Arashi segments. I'v only seen 2 A no arashi segments..is there more? He is also amazed at Ohno-chan eating abilities.
Love to learn japanese myself, but currently i'm broke. Can't even afford to buy DIY NihonGo books.
yeah, my bro will kill me too if he knew i was talking about him, not really... but the way his eyes roll at me whenever he knew i was 'promoting' him... really, that's why i say that he's like sawada shin. so i have to act all yankumi-like. your bro looks like that shota no sushi guy, is it kassey? wahhh... i used to have a crush on him after i watched itazura na kiss... cool... u know, when my bro was much younger, he looked like... NINO! really, i thought i was just imagining things, then i saw child-photos of nino, and i thought i was looking at my bro's baby pics! but now he's all grown-up... he's much taller than me (fyi, i'm around 1.8 m...), much tanner... his face sorta changed to a much more masculine version of jun( hehe...i had a habit of looking at jun and say, 'kirei!' he's really beautiful... ). when i told my bro so, he responded, "But i thought u look like Matsu Jun..." hehe, but i knew he was referring to my teeth (kindaichi time's). then he told me he got a friend who looks like matsu jun, and he wants my twin and i to meet him. now, dont get me wrong, like i said before, he dont think much of arashi as singers. so to have these moments with my bro, it's "price-ress"...
he likes all D no Arashi that i've shown him, including A no Arashi, the rewinding segment done by ohno and nino(Ohmiya SK), the Sho-Aiba Origami Boat Project... he really enjoyed those shows... but to get him to start watching each one... it's a torture!
If u wanna learn Japanese... i wish there's a way to help u... it's very helpful to have somebody close who also passionate about learning... i wanna meet new friends who wants to learn Nihon-go too...

Hello everyone.
Ok...so, I can admit that I'm a lurker who is finally coming out of her shell. I tend to be rather shy , but I see that everyone is really nice here and I'm so grateful for all the hard work put into uploading all things ARASHI!!! I'm still building my "Arashi Library," but everyone feel free to ask for files. I only found out about Arashi about a month ago, but I can't get enough.
I'm so upset that I joined the fandom rather late, especially because I went to Japan for spring break back in March !!! Imagine all the money I could have spent on Arashi stuff instead of getting souvenirs for all my cousins that I never really talk to !!! j/k
Anyway, I also decided to finally speak up because I also want to go teach English in Japan after I graduate. I have some friends over there and they were really encouraging me to apply to work over there for a year. I definitely need to work on my Japanese before I go over there again. I've only taken an informal class at my college and just tried to pick up phrases from my friends. (It was kinda funny because I also speak some Spanish and while my friend was an exchange student here in the U.S., she studied Spanish. So we would jump from language to language.)
Wow...I didn't realize I'd have this much to say in my very first post...sorry for the long post. Anyway, it's nice to finally say, "Konnichi wa" or "Hola" or whatever language you prefer.
And oh yeah, one last thing about me...I LOVE SHO!!!

Welcome, bella-italia! I'm not quite sure what language to address you in since you mention knowing Spanish and Japanese, but you're writing in English and yet you have an Italian name!
So hola! konnichiwa! ciao! hello!
Yeah, I get what you mean with the mixing up languages. I do it all the time because I know a little of a lot of languages but not quite enough to hold a decent conversation. Example of my stupidity: For the longest time, I couldn't remember how to say hello in French (I remember now, btw). In my mind, the phrase "ni hao" kept popping up (which is Mandarin).
So if I had to take an inventory of the languages I know, it would include Cantonese, Mandarin, another Chinese dialect which I don't know the name of (it's called chiu chow in Cantonese), English, and French. I guess I could start to add conversational Japanese to this list but I'm not that good in it yet. Ahh....all the languages drive me nuts!
Oh yeah, I'm really excited about this teaching English in Japan thing although it's still a few years away for me. Teaching's not what I want to do as a career but I thought it'll be a good break in between finishing university and starting med school. Except, it'll add another year or so to the time before I start my real career (I'll be....29???).
actually, embarrassingly, i did a yr of japanese like 10 yrs ago. coz i'm a HUGE manga addict. at that time, there wasn't soooo many mangas translated into chinese (which thank god i'm pretty fluent at). btw, I have nearly 1000 - 2000 mangas, think i lost count.
but unfortunately i had no friends to converse/practise with in japanese, and the mangas are slowly being translated to mandarin. so i gave up studying japanese... now i regret dat so much...
moral of the story is, never give up on something coz you may need it in 10 yrs time... haha...
wow, so am not the only one who study japanese almost 10 years ago, i gave it up sometimes like 5 years ago i think, ended up on grade 2 level only. but i didnt really study it for 5 years coz i stopped a few years after i decided to take it again, but again work is my priority so i give it up. and your manga @@ that's way too plenty... add add all my CLAMP and Naoko's manga collection, i wont even end up with 500... but my main purpose of studying Japanese before is for ANIME ~~ hehe, and most of my mangas earlier are chinese not japanese, it was until recently that i start to collect japanese version especially if they sells it cheaper than the chinese counterpart. now am determined to restudy Japanese by myself, have bought before some review books and cds that's just there sitting in the shelves... what a waste.
and congratulation for getting the tickets. dont forget to grab some souvinirs. _________________

Thanks for the warm welcome, Baby_Pixie. I can totally relate that all the mixture of languages can be confusing. I need to work on my Spanish because right now it's just conversational and I'm about to start learning Italian in school (I'm part Italian, too). But at the same time I wanna practice Japanese as much as possible. The pronunciation is not too hard because it is all phonetic like Spanish. But it's also funny because some Spanish words have a completely different meaning in Japanese, and vice versa. For example, "aho" in Japanese means stupid and "ajo" (same phonetic pronunciation as the Japanese "aho" even though spelled differently) means garlic in Spanish.
Gambatte with teaching in Japan! I also don't really wanna make a career out of it, but it's seems like a once in a lifetime thing! I'll probably want to go to grad school after I return (if I can even go over to Japan to teach). That's okay if you're 29 when you return. I think that's considered young nowadays. Just imagine all the things you'll get to do and see while abroad. Just being in Japan for a week was completely life-altering for me. I loved it! We're young & we need to go experience life!
Ok, I'll stop sounding cheesy and get back on topic. If you need any motivation at all, just the thought of being in Japan with all the access to Arashi goodies is reason enough!
Oh and btw, your avatar is BEAUTIFUL!!! CHO-SEXY, SHO!!!

Hello Kougaiji!!! I'm not very good at Spanish (or not as good as my family expects me to be) and I really need to practice Japanese. That's great you can speak more than one langauge. Do you speak Mandarin or Cantonese? Gomen, I'm pretty ignorant about the Chinese languages. However, I'm fascinated by languages, but they all take a lot of practice, ne? Well, at least we can all practice together here!
Oh, and have a great time at the concert, Fybabe! Haven't really met ya yet, but I'm sure you will have an awesome time!
