Designating preference via countdown (and, for the record, POSSIBLE SPOILERS if you have not yet seen: Sutouka-Sasou Onna, Meguriai, Flight by Night, Beautiful Life, Kikaida, Salaryman Kintaro, Hotman, Shinsengumi Keppuroku, Hello Black Jack, and/or Love and Peace):
THE MAN'S TOP 10 FAVE' J-DRAMA TUNES
10) Ai wa Hitotsu by Kondo Masahiko, from Sutouka-Sasou Onna.
After the second show . . . I found myself looking over my shoulder whenever I heard the song. Don't know why.
9) Heart by Fukuyama Masaharu, from Meguriai.
What can I say? I like the . . . um . . . er . . . "refrain" from this song. I'll be here all week, folks.
8) I Have Never Seen by Amuro Namie, from Flight by Night.
The only condition I have when helping friends move house is that I get to program this song on "repeat" . . . that and we gotta do the move at night. Late. Oh, and that there are good eats during the breaks. Yeah.
7) Konya Tsukino Mieru Okani by B'z, from Beautiful Life.
Who can argue with B'z tunes?
6) Tatakae! Jinzo Ningen Kikaida! by Hide Yuki, from Kikaida.
Makes you wish you had a yellow motorcycle (and if you already have one? Makes you wish you had a sidecar, too).
5) Kibono Kanega Naru Asani by The Alfee, from Salaryman Kintaro.
I STILL hum this song while sprinting to the office.
4) Together by EXILE, from Hotman.
Great start to a great show.
3) Sayonara by Matsuyama Chiharu, from Shinsengumi Keppuroku.
Poignant tune for the matter at hand in this chambara drama.
2) LIFE is... ~another story~ by Hirai Ken, from Hello Black Jack.
The song almost sounds like a tune that should be played at graduation ceremonies, no? Kinda' made sense as it seemed like Dr. Eijiro Saito seemingly kept "graduating" in each episode more than Sisyphus had to roll up the rock (and, actually . . . isn't he's still doing that?).
Ahhh . . . # 1
1) Love and Peace by Tokio, from Love and Peace
Actually makes you jealous if you're not already a detective working double shifts and handed the life-changing situation of taking care of your brother's kids (raise your hands, how many out there can fit this description exactly? Yeah, see what I mean?).
Seriously speaking . . . a great song. Talk about songs inspired to encourage your position in life, no?

Just got "Boku no Ikiru Michi" & "Boku to Kanojo to Kanojo no Ikiru Michi" OSTs as well. "Pride" OST is in my top 5 OSTs currently too.
Pride - "I was Born to Love You", "Bohemian Rhapsody" & "We Will Rock You" by Queen are my favs in the dorama.
Good Luck!! - "Ride On Time" by Tatsuro Yamashita
Sorakara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi - "Smile" by Elvis Costello
How good the OST is partly affects the dorama as a whole too desho?
3Peace...
