 Don't use too much oil... Ever see that video of that idiot who filled the fryer all the way to the top with oil? After he put the turkey in, the oil spilled out and caught fire... And he couldn't put it out...

 Don't forget to do that OUTSIDE!!!!! And, thoroughly thaw the turkey before dipping it in the oil... If it's even half-froze, the bird will literally explode!

 Yeah, it's sorta like chicken, but the taste is a bit stronger, I think. Turkey is a game bird, while chicken has been so domesticated that its strong flavor is gone...
