I actually almost bought the premium package. If I get a bw exceeded msg on webpost, then I'm really gonna get the premium.
If you hadn't already bought it, i was gonna say maybe you coulda just kept on registering until you gotten a server that's non-server4! Wink

i havent bought one yet - trying to make do with webpost. But in uploadit, you dont actually need to register. Jus tupload ur file and remember the link and thats it. no personal info involved.

Yep. There is a five uploads per day (600K file size max) limit on the free uploads, though.

Hey Arnel, have you been to the uploadIt! site lately? There was a note apologizing for the problems with Server 4 and 5... So they weren't out to get you, bud. Big Grin

most often, your ISP has space for you. also, if you are still in college, your college usually has webspace too.

i've got 3 accounts with my isp with 15 MBs each.
my university gives me 250MBs of space aswell.

True, but will they let you link to the pictures outside of the site itself? That seems to be the problem most people are having...

Yeah, mine does offer it but bw is limited to 500mb/month. That's not gonna be enough for me. Wink

sucky. 500 MB/s month to host a few avatars and pictures should be good enough for this board.

yeah i host pictures, mp3s, zips, and a bunch of other crap from both my ISP and university accounts.

well if u have like 6 jpgs posted at 250kb each like in those artist galleries, it will only take 334 hits and u've already reached 500mb. Assuming a modest 20 hits/day, and that will last u roughly 17 days.
But yes, if u dont post big pics, 500mb is more than enough. Wink

I scale down the pics anyways to around 50K-60K, 'cause some of us Rolling eyes don't have a broadband connection... Sweat hehe

oh yeah, opps =D

seems like the animated GIFs and large pictures are the rage here. Those can eat up hungry bandwidth.
