Ok so, I really don't know how this works but my name is Nicole Rose and I know how to write it in katakana but I was wondering if it can be written in kanji and if it has a meaning in japanese. I know in english it means victory of the people/village or something like that... _________________

my name has a meaning of 'blessing' and i am a male. Can someone tell my name in japanese language?
When i refer to dictionary, "blessing" has 4 meanings.megumi, shiawase, keitaku, shukufuku, onkei. which one would be my name in japanese? or all of it? or none of it?

Nicole:
1. ,but it's complicated and if you switch the kanji it means fake. So that's not good.
2. m is probably better.
m(ni)- benevolence, humanness, compassion
(kou)- light, glow
(ru)- keep, stay
Rose:
Don't know. I found KN which means Rose, but it's shoubi [傤] and it's usually written with kana only. _________________

Hi! i dont understand and confuse on how to write Japanese name. which one we have to write first, family's name or our name? like "Kurosaki Ichigo". which one is family's name?
2. then, is it correct if "Kurosaki Ichigo" written as "Ichigo Kurosaki"?

A Bleach fan?
Last name is first and first name is last. ... or the simpler way: Family name is first, then it's the first name. In this case, it's , Kurosaki Ichigo.
Kurosaki: Last Name (Family name)
Ichigo: First name

Just a little note:
KN is read [], not [傤] as you have it listed.
Seeing as it's a name, I thought I should point it out.
For names, though, I really would recommend using katakana:
jR[ [Nicole]
[Y [Rose]
HTH,

Thanks.
Unless I'm mistaken, all foreigners names are in katakana. Can you use the kanji once you get naturalized (like married to a Japanese man/woman) or is katakana still better?
My dictionary (edict) is wrong again. _________________

Thank you Tabana and Kokuou for that. I just wanted to see what it would be in Kanji because my friend would brag how they found theirs and I just wanted to know if I had one or not. so Thanks again. _________________

is every Japanese's name has a meaning? is it compulsory to put a Japanese name with meaning? are there Japanese's name with no meaning?
Does you own culture have names with no meaning? Personally I doubted if there is a culture which has names with no meaning, however absurd the meaning may seem to us.
