how would i input that to get through? so far i've tried:

but it doesn't seem to work. what am i doing wrong?

I think 0180 is a toll free number like 0120 in Japan. So I dunno if you can dial that number internationally. Usually Tokyo has an area code of 03 so i.e it's like country code + area code +number.. = 81 +3+ phone number.

Nah, I've found it weird if that's ur friend's number because it's toll free number..hehehe. So it's an office, I guess that make sense. Why not ask local operator whether you can make a direct call to an toll free number like that.

Liss, that's an NTT docomo toll free number which I have doubt that you can call it internationally. Usually all toll free number in Japan started with 0180 or 0120 (KDDI another telephone company there).

I hope you can find other telephone number where you can call them. ie the number that I just set an example on previous page.. Country code (081) + area Code for Tokyo (03) + number (six to seven number)

Somehow I was drawn back to this thread....again.
There are some numbers in Japan that are actually 8 digits long.

Back to the number at hand. Aka is correct in saying this is a toll-free (in Japan) call. Since you're from Canada, you would dial:
011-81-180-933-933. Of course, it's not free for you. You would drop all preceding zeroes.
