news about Masa's latest gig.."Boy from Oz" I got surprised that he was covered in "Sydney Morning Herald" with quite big liners..Yay!!
SYDNEY MORNING HERALD - 6 June 2005
The latest in a long line of boys from Oz is Masayuki Sakamoto, 33, the lead singer in Japan's hottest boy band. He had never heard of Peter Allen until last year and his only visit to Australia so far has been to play golf.
But he shakes a mean maraca and dances so well that the Tokyo version of The Boy From Oz has been slightly rewritten to showcase his footwork.
There is less than a week of rehearsal before opening night, and Sakamoto ("Masa" to his fans) has perfected his show-stopping strut on the lid of a baby grand.
"When I'm standing on top of that piano I feel like it is where I belong," he said.

hahaha.....in my mind, i can never connect the two concepts of golf and sports together. i mean, all you're doing is whacking a ball, walking over or even just driving over to the where the ball lands...whack....
i've never really been a fan of golf though. i prefer more exciting sports like volleyball, basketball, soccer, etc.
I do like Basket ball..*cough* used to play for law school team ..*cough* though I'm not tall but i did enjoy it a lot. Blood and sweat I tell ya.
I'm not superb either but It was fun! I wonder why they chose me back then I was not even thinking that I was that good.
I should teach Masa's to play basketball ..I know he's good in playing baseball too. Come to think of it I will show him more sports..LMAO..

I wonder what kind of sports?
While I was in the Japan, one of those television talk shows did a piece on both Masa's "Boy From Oz" & Inocchi & Hiroshi's "The Producers". They got Masa to sing a little. KAKOII YO!!
Hiroshi & Inocchi got to go see the original broadway play and they seemed to be quite impressed. They laughed a lot even though they didn't quite understand everything that was said.
Hey Valle! Good luck on your exams! Ganbatte! _________________

Yeah, yeah, then we can torture them and make them promise to do more TV dramas (among other things)! _________________
