Hi!

I'm new to J-drama! I just watched Hana Yori Dango & Gokusen and I *LOVED* them.

I have never felt so happy watching a tv show as I felt when I watched these two shows.

Any other romance/romantic comedy dramas you would recommend to one who LOVES Hana Yori Dango & Gokusen?

has anyone seen this drama?? Is it any good I can't find any dato on it on jdorama.

It's missing from the database. I think someone started to sub it, but stop at episode 4.

well, gto is takashi sorimachi with matsushima nanako as the love interest (not sure of her name, but she's domyuji's sis in hyd... she's married to takashi in real life, btw. this drama is where they met. sweet.hehe.). then there's oguri shun (hanazawa rui..quite young here..), and also yosuke kobuzuka (in SOS with tackey). it's pretty old. also watched the anime and read some of the manga.

The GTO drama I find is a lot more enjoyable then the anime.

I advise you not to watch the GTO movie since there really isn't anything different from that, the drama, or the drama special. Just new students with their own share of problems.
If you're a Rena Tanaka fan or you got nothing else to watch, go for it.

Hi, Im new to this forum, so sorry if this has been posted a million times before...

Basically Ive watched Ima ai ni yukimasu and Garage. I really enjoyed the humour side of Garage and was wondering if anyone could recommend a similar Japanese drama to me.

Im not into a full-on comedy, just a drama that is easy to watch and not a slow as ai ni yukimasu.

It's nothing like HYD but still very good
Densha Otoko (The Train Man). Its ridiculously funny. Does have romance theme. Again, its nothing like HYD, but it should be recommended.

haven't watched this one yet but its called 1 liter of tears. Heard lots of good comments on it
This one kinda dark....Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003. Some love it and some found it weird.
Just thought i throw it in. I loved it. The acting from the cast was great

Isn't Densha Otoko about a anime guy who falls in love with a girl on a train? It seems like it's funny, though, I don't think it'd be to any appeal to my sisters, who are addicted to HYD. I'll see about Summer snow though.. but I'm looking for (mainly) romantic comedies

is there any other recommendations?

Highly recommending Nobuta Wo Produce and Dragonzakura.

Yep, that's Densha Otoko

I'd recommend Last Christmas, Hero and Good Luck!! if you're looking for romantic comedies.
