Teppan Shoujo Akane looks pretty good. At least the first ep. Saving them up though to watch all at once. Bonk

you really think so my friend???

I seem to be seeing opposite of what you see.
I'm just disappointed in how the drama looks so boring and plain. They could present it in a more exciting way I think, plus the cast, I've seen them in better dramas and seen their acting abilities. I think this one makes some of them look quite lame Sweat Sweat

Welcome to JDorama. For what you're looking I suggest "Orange Days", and "Nodame Cantabile" (still airing in Japan). Both are about college students about to venture into the real world (last year in college) and both involve romance. The former, however, has an emphasis on sign language while the latter is set in a classical music environment.

I have just finished Orange Days. I must say thank you for your reccomendation. At the very last scene, I was quite touched. As I am 22 years old, I was able to connect with the characters situation very well. Perhaps I may be rude enough to to ask of any more reccomendations, I would look forward and highlly apreciatte it. Thank you very much.

I got a soft spot for dramas like Ichi Ritoru no Namida and Denchi ga Kireru Made. The medical/personal story kind (not sure how else to put it). Any other ones? Other than Beautiful Life, seen it.

hhmmm... you should try Taiyou no Uta. It also has Sawajiri Erika and yes it's personal and medical or whatever. Though you won't cry a river, it has awsome soundtrack!
