I am so brave, after watching some sad doramas, I told myself never again,a and I watched Ichi Ritoru no namida... what the hell was I thinking? I wept the whole time!!!
I need some suggestions of happy, funny, dorama to get me out of this depression!!
I would love to download nomade cantabile but the torrent speed is really slow? Anyone knows where else i can download the english subbed version without torrent? Thanks!
Other suggestions?
If you're not that fuzzy, I believe you can watch it in pretty good quality at veoh.com or crunchyroll.com .

yep i enjoyed Nodame also. great musical drama!!
if youre looking for a drama while waiting for some subs. i suggest... *points to my siggy* thats it.
Hehehe, I have actually watched 2 episodes of densha otoko/train man and as much as others have liked it, is just not my taste(I've even had the original Japanese book/novel and internet chat files in my hand). I'm not a fan of the fake, beauty falling for the nerdy type guy (in this case an otaku) dramas. However, I appreciate the fact you responded (not to mention super fast) Thank you very much and hey maybe you got other suggestions hehe.
I'm currently downloading episode 1 of My boss my hero cause I just noticed someone else recommended that one before, + it appears Aragaki is in that series as well and she came out in Dragon Zakura and was a good actress (and should add quite cute as well hehe) _________________

Hehe, well the cute girls help the drama and me liking it, but if the story is trash there no way I can force myself to watch even if they cute. As you can noticed from my favorite list, is more than just cute looking girls which appeals to me. (heck half of these aren't even based on cute looking girls now that I think about it hehe) I remember I started watching once a drama where half of the actress where like real japanese porn stars or something like that (some otaku in a house and a bunch of hot girls) and I couldn't get past the 2nd episode. yeah they were hot but thats it.. no story, nothing intriguing)
-Proposal Daisakusen
-Liar Game
-1 liter of tears
-Hana Yori Dango (1 and 2)
-H2
-Nobuta wo Produce
-Nodame Cantabile
-Dragon Zakura
However, I will give gal circle a try, sounds good _________________

ohaiyo. im new here. just wondering can anybody recommend some shows to me. i prefer those with alil love substance(not too much) and probably mainly about other aspects of life of the main character. esp those with strong fighting spirit. something like ace wo nerae, gambatte ikimasshio, pride, good luck etc.
on the other hand, i recommend some with good storyline(at least in my opinion)
pride
hana yori dango I and II
kindaichi series(for those who likes mystery)
byakuyakou
Ichi Ritoru no Namida
water boys 2
good luck
attack no.1
attention please
etc etc _________________
hello everyone! this is my first post. i just got into j-dramas a few weeks ago, i've only seen two, Tokyo Friends and Ichi Ritoru no Namida. i liked both of them a lot, although i think i only liked toky friends b/c of otsuka ai
i'm not sure where to start looking for others, so i'll ask here:
i like dramas with love stories in them, with characters that are teens-20's, i don't like comedies, i actually like sad endings, but happy endings are fine as well. hot girls is a must! i tried to be specific, so please help!!! any recommendations?

Hello Minna-san
Lately, ILve been coming quite often to this enjoyable site and last night it hit me!
I am the only one here on the JDorama forum who hasnLt watched a single drama starring the godfather of all dramas, Kimura.
Kimura as an actor never appealed to me, but who am I to judge without even giving one of his shows a try! Therefore, since there are soo many to chose from, could you lovely people recommend me one Kimura-drama that is on the funnier side of life???
