could anyone reccomend a drama or two for me?
and dont just reccomend ur fave drama :p try to think about the dramas i have watched and enjoyed first.
i have seriously enjoyed:
Hotelier (maybe just because of Aya and Aya`s long hair *droolz)
GTO (sooooooooooo funny)
Elite Yankee Saburo (again, sooooooooo funny)
i like comedy but i also like it with a fair mix of romance also.
thanx guys if you can find something that is really meant for me

I can recommend Ima Ai Ni Yukimatsu - the drama. (There's also a movie, but I haven't seen it yet.) It isn't loaded with a lot of supernatural elements....well I suppose it is. The supernatural element really becomes apparent in the last episode when the "twist" is revealed. I suppose it depends specifically on what you mean by "fantasy".
I love this drama. I recommend it to anyone.

I recommend Ame to Yume no ato ni and Chakushin Ari. The former is more of a family drama (to a point) with eerie moments, the latter is more of a suspense horror type. _________________

You said it. I found it way too heavy.
@ BonesMC - how about My Boss My Hero? You might have seen it's mentioned a lot on this thread. A very fun, light drama.
Also Densha Otoko (Train Man). It's fast=paced, but very funny.
There's Kuitan - if you like lots of food talk.
I'd say to keep with Kekkon Dekinai Otoko too, as the quality is consistenly good all through the series.

I just found out that the brilliant green sang "Sono SUPIIDO de" for this drama called "Over Time". I checked it and found out that Sorimachi Takashi's in it.
Is it any good? Is anyone willing to recommend it? |
Yes, I found the drama very enjoyable. Sorimachi and Esumi Makiko were a great pairing and the supporting cast was also well cast. This is more classical dorama in that it was typical of the doramas of the 1990s. If you enjoyed Long Vacation, Love Generation and the like you will likely enjoy Overtime as well. It was a drama that felt more geniune in that the characters were more real...more human, and less hyperbole.
I do have my criticisms of the show as do others that also liked it but I won't spoil anything for you. Go for it. As cheesy as it may sound, the dorama felt like you were really peering into the lives of this group of ppl living in the big city of Tokyo.
