Nodame Cantabile is funny with romance.
Not that many comedy in the top 50 but plenty of romance.
Maybe Attention Please? Funny but not much romance.
Just read and find out about what people recommended already.

I am watching Odoru daisousassen and really like it, so I especially recommend this. Read that the movie was huge back when it showed. It has very funny moments.

Hi! I am using my first post to ask a question! I've just started to watch japanese dramas. I have allready gone through 1 litre of tears,HYD 1-2,First kiss and A song to the sun. loved them all

You then by watching find your favorite actors/actresses from that. So what I am wondering is, if any one knows: I am thinking about downloading H2 (in Norway it is not easy to get the dramas in other ways), and my question is if Megumi Sato's part in that is a main character? I really love her acting, aswell as she is the cutest thing I've ever seen (I will probably see it anyway, but is a bit curious)

Also if someone could recomend me some dramas (with english subs), that I probably would like seeing the list on top.

Do you have specific preferences on what type of drama you like? It's kind of hard to know what to recommend.

Megumi Sato's part in H2 is very small. She's one of Haruka(Satomi)'s friend who tag along sometimes, an original character not in the H2 manga. H2 live action is quite different to the manga, close in plot but I find that it didn't capture the feel of the original manga and Hiro's character was also very different. It's not bad, but there are better sports drama around IMHO, like Attack No. 1.

And I can see that it is not easy to see my preferences from the dramas I have seen. From the sadest thing ever to lighthearted comedy.Hehe..

I guess I dont really have any preferences, but have just followed the actors in the ones I have seen. I will probably not use weeks/months to get H2 then, I will wait for english subs for Sunadokei and Chiritotechin to see her again. And by seeing the dramas you recommended for me, I wil probably find some new actors to follow aswell

If you like those school type dramas (gakuin dormas) try Nodame Cantabile, Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2, Dragon Zakura, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e....

I think there might be a couple of doramas that involve gay relationships but I don't know them off hand....

I would highly recommend Aruganon ni Hanataba wo .It's one of the best dramas i've seen so far featuring Mr.Yusuke Santamaria,Ms.Nakajima Tomoko et al.Mr.Yusuke did a tremendous job in this drama and made me think that he's one of the few underrated actors.Oh by the way,I love Ms.Nakajima she's very beautiful and has a husky sexy voice


Anyway,there's a gazillion recommendations but the above is a must see!
