    GTO
    Kimi wa petto *
    Nobuta wo Produce *
    Summer snow
    Shotgun Marriage
    Nodame Cantabile
    Lunch Queen
    Pride
    Orange Days
    Mukodono
    My Boss My hero
    Love Generation

    [

* ones i REALLY liked

To be honest, yes. But I absolutely love the old B&W rom/coms and foreign ones for some odd reason.

WAH! I love romantic comedies. Tho they have to be well written and not lame.

Hmmmm... how about:

- Seikei Bijin
- Satorare
- Wedding Planner
- Brother Beat (tho I guess this is more family than romantic, tho I found it romantic)
- Densha Otoko
- Hanayome to Papa
- Kekkon Dekinai Otoko
- Hotaru no Hikari

Wow, thanks for the suggestions! I haven't seen a few of these, so I'll check them out before I make a copy for someone. Another person even suggested Zettai Kareshi, so I might even consider that...I just wish that the stupid cream puff story could be edited out. U Suck And Hotaru no Hikari? You're the second one to mention this, so I think I'll have to rewatch the first episode to refresh my memory.

I had Zettai Kareshi on this list as well, but you mentioned no silly things, so I took it out. Beaten

In terms of personal recommendations, from the above list, I would recommend Wedding Planner and Kekkon Dekinai Otoko. They're both romantic, and they're both hilarious.

Zettai was silly, but it was touching enough to make me consider it.

Wedding Planner might be ok, Kekkon Dekinai Otoko too. Argh. I'm just so confused about what to give this person that I probably will just leave it at Long Vacation and call it a day. Or just randomly choose something from the list that you made or some other suggestion that another person had. Sweat

Yup, I already watched it. I just think it would've been better if it weren't for my favorite actor in it. Sweat

Yes. I've never liked him in any of the dramas I've seen.

I didn't like him in there. I was rooting for Sorimachi's character.

Ok, so I know I asked this a while back, but are there any Shiina Kippei dramas or even movies that are good and I wouldn't dislike him in? So far, I have see him in Itsuka Mata Aeru, Sweet Season, Over Time, Kanojo-tachi no Jidai, and Seikei Bijin and he didn't impress me or win me over in any of these dramas. I think it's because of his unlikeable characters and his looks don't help either.

He was pretty good as the bad guy in Unfair the movie...

I thought it was brilliant in Antique, which is the drama that changed my mind about him. I didn't like him in Sekei Bijin either, but after watching Antique, I totally changed my mind.

I'll watch him over any pretty boy actor any day of the week.
