I haven't posted in a while as I've been busy with other things and haven't had a chance to sit and watch much. But I just finished watching CHANGE, a political drama, and really liked it.

Might be a good idea to update the dramas that you watched on the "My Dramas" section of this site so we know which dramas you already saw. Smile

And here are more suggestions:

Maou
Joou no Kyoshitsu
Unfair
Tengoku e no Kaidan
Long Love Letter
Harmonia
Seija no Koushin
Bokura no Yuuki

Hello~ I've been sorta searching through the posts in the recommendation thread, however there's over 200 pages...and it just became too much of a hassle to skim through all the recommendations that didn't apply to me xD
So anyway~ I was wondering if any of you J-drama whizzes could recommend any good series to watch ^^

There's two genres I really like:
1. Mystery/Suspense/Psychological - like Galileo, Liar Game, Maou, Bloody Monday ect., as well as ones that have a bit of comedy in them too like BOSS and Ryusei no Kizuna

and 2. Comedy/Romance - Nodame Cantabile, Love Shuffle, Papa to Musume no Nanokakan

I do sorta like the dramatic romance types as well like Hana Yori Dango, but I've sorta gone off that genre, I prefer mystery and comedy now. xD So what do you think? I get bored of dramas really easily if the first episode doesn't capture my attention, so probably epic ones are better than just OK ones XD

What I don't like are ones that are really serious and don't keep you on the edge of your seat like human, medical or overly-tragic dramas...and I haven't really watched older dramas either, I tried some but I found the first episodes really boring so I gave up (short attention span xD). I also really, really don't like things like Hana Kimi, Gokusen, Mei-chan no Shitsuji etc. (high-school and sports dramas?) They really bore me, and I hate the actors/actresses (e.g. Kamenashi Kazuya, Horikita Maki, Yamapi, Eikura Nana, etc. annoy me really badly XD)

Thanks~ ^_^

I haven't watched the first 3, but these have a lot of good reviews:
(They are probably more serious than the ones you like.)

Sleeping Forest
Ice World
Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi
Bara no nai Hanaya (Mystery/Romance)

2. Comedy/Romance

Churasan (very funny)
Muri na Renai
Koi no Chikara

Mysteries:
Trick (and it's a comedy)
Gonzo
Majo Saiban (very similar vibe to Liar Game)

Comedy/Romance:
Kekkon Dekinai Otoko
Haken no Hinkaku

Can someone reccomend me a drama that is similar to

Hotaru no Hikari
Nodame Cantible

I'd like it to have some sort of romantic relationship throughout the drama (not looking for something overly dramatic at the moment) where the character is just friggin cute/adorable.. even like the dramas

Itsumo futari de
Love Generation

are good too. the woman main role HAS to be attractive =X lol dont want to be mean.. but as a guy it's what keeps me interested at the moment. (nanako matsushima, ayase haruka, matsu takako, itoh misaki, hasegawa kyoko, ueto aya etc)

thanks in advance!

i'm actually in friggin love with her right now.......she's not really the type that strikes me in the beginning.. but i just fell in love with her watching nodame cantible.. she has such a pretty face and she's still so damn attractive despite her tomboyish features at times (i been going through the ueno juri post looking at the thousand million pictures u posted on there -.-)
