I pulled an all nighter watching the 10 episodes of Love Shuffle. I absolutely LOVED the characters and the chemistry between them. I wasn't expecting much but here I am looking everywhere for something as fun to watch.
Can you please recommend something ?
My favorites comedies besides Love shuffle are:
Nodame Cantabile
My boss my hero
Tiger and dragon
Dekichatta kekkon
Mukodono
Papa to musume no nanokakan
Thank you !! |
u might enjoy
SLOW DANCE
Rookies
Last Christmas
Kekkon Dekinai Otoko
Densha Otoko
Propose Daisakusen
and the Kuitan series like bmwracer said above

hi bmwracer
I gave kuitan a try sometime ago but I actually did not go past ep2-3. I kinda thought the comical aspect relied too much on the gluttony of the detective, also each episode seemed to be a standalone story if I recall correctly.
Until now, I actually liked only two police/detective series: Securiy Police and Galileo. I watched episode 1 of Gonzo, it looks interesting too. Maybe I'm too difficult (sumimasen ^^
I'll try kooky Jiko Keisatsu, thank you very much for your suggestions!

Thanks for the list!
Indeed I liked Kekkon dekinai otoko and densha otoko quite a lot (I hesistated a little before deciding not to include them in the favorites ^^)
I found that Rookies started interesting but somehow became too cheesy as it went (but I finished watching it).
I'll make sure to check the other series, thx a bunch!

I would suggest Love Complex for the offbeat storyline that you seem to enjoy. |
yeah SLOW DANCE is awesome and if u dont mind watching a really decent dorama from a while back, SUMMER SNOW or Beach Boys is an open option _________________

offbeat, bull's eye =)
I am tilting to both synopses, Slow dance and Love complex.
Thanks a lot, you people are cool!

Wow, I can't believe I've missed that many hits after all I watched, definitely GREAT news =). Beach boys added on the pending list.
I know Summer snow, it is one of the best romance dramas I have ever seen (I did a good job fighting the tears too ^^). I also liked Hotaru no Hikari a lot (Ayase Haruka is so so so sweet, she remains so in JIN).
BY the way, sorry to put another quesiton, but do you know any dramas with a character close to Sakamoto Ryoma of JIN?

yeah summer snow was great one of my favs, and as for Beach boys if u liked hirosue ryoko in dekichatta kekkon and Summer snow, u wud enjoy it. that goes for SLOW DANCE as well cus she`s in that one too.
JIN? sakamoto ryoma..u mean Ryoma Den (taiga dorama) with Fukuyama Masaharu? _________________

Oh, that's too bad... I like the food+ comedy + mystery...

Each episode of Galileo was pretty much a standalone story too... I thought the professor's "revelations" in each episode got tiring and sort of ridiculous after a while...

Hopefully, you'll enjoy that drama more than Kuitan...

yeah, that was why I watched it over a long period of time. Still, I liked the characters and their personality flaws a lot =)
