I was watching Fantasy Couple (Kdrama) and it got me thinking what Jdrama has a female lead who talks and acts tough but is really a softie on the inside. Any idea? Thanks.

Nope. I would be interested in watching a jdorama with a feisty lead actress too _________________

I can only think of the female taxi driver in Manhattan Love Story.

I need help with selecting my very first manga/anime (what's the difference?). I am looking for one that is a very romantic with a love triangle and like a "seat hanger" where I will be on edge with each episode.
I don't like cartoons or anything similar, except Lion King and Shrek but my friends say I am missing out and the reason why I didn't like some dramas, is because I have to see the manga/anime. I have asked them for assistance but I don't care for the genres they recommended.
I like romance comedy or just romance like most of my drama list. I prefer to watch something that I have not seen or manga that is better than the drama I watched.
Please help me with this. Thank you for all recommendations. Oh by the way,

I don't prefer the sexy ones, romantic but not sex please.
Thx _________________

Well, sort of... The story is set in Europe, but no World War had occurred...
Gehh, you're not one of those people who have an aversion to movies/dramas/etc. than weren't made after 2000 or set in the present day, huh?
That's me! LOL. Unless it is like very romantic and all like Long Vacation and those types. I don't care for the hocus pocus, sci-fi, detective, thriller, all comedy w/no romance... these types bore me the most, I lose interest. _________________

There's also Love Shuffle and Muri na Renai.
(I'd recommend Muri na Renai first, but I don't know if you can handle a romantic comedy between two mature, older adults as opposed to adults in their 20's..... )

Ok I will watch those. Mature like 30-late 40's is ok. Etsushi and Fujiki are around mid to late 40's and I enjoy them. Now if they are over 50 _________________

You have a really small window for dramas that you're willing to watch...
I like watching different stuff just depends on my current frame of mind so to speak. Like I watched historicals (just waiting for subs at the moment). I just finished several melodramas and a few high school comedy types.
Just depends. I wanted to watch Control, but I can't find it hardsubbed yet so. And that's a detective type drama like Bones, CSI type and I wouldn't mind watching that it would be different but I would like to try it. Most of what comes on local TV here, especially in evening are psych thriller police type dramas. So when I look for Asian drama to watch I try to look for something that is not commonly aired on TV.
And in my opinion, asian rom-com's are the best! They are so addictive. _________________
