onegai...
It's 49 episodes long, probably why it's so expensive. It's a historical Japanese drama (I think it has war and stuff....maybe some love here and there...I have it but didn't watch yet). If you only like contemporary dramas then it's probably not for you.....

You're welcome In general, from what I hear, it's really good though. I like Matsushima Nanako, so I'd watch it no matter what. The cast is cream of the crop There are lots of reviews here: http://jdorama.com/drama_619.htm

Hi,
I fairly new to this forum and thought I'd start out with a question. One thing I like are series with a horror/suspense angle to them. So, has anyone seen any of these. If so, did you like them or not?
Another Heaven
Rasen
100 Tales of Horror
Sky High
I'd love to know what other people think of these. Are they worth viewing?

are these dramas or movies..? never really heard of them.. :p
as for me, as i'm a little coward that cannot watch horror movies.. stuff like trick is scary enough for me already..
Yeah, they're definitely dramas. All are listed in the database. Another Heaven does exist in a movie version which I've seen. It's a bit of a convoluted mess, in my opinion. I'm hoping that the tv drama version does a better job with the subject matter. I'll be getting the Ring and Sleeping Forest series on DVD-R soon. Looking forward to it.
To juliana_phang: Do you know where you can find Sky High on VCD and does it have Eng sub? I have no idea.

could anyone reseed the summer snow ost @ d-addicts?
EDIT
Oops I just figured out that I posted this message on the wrong thread!
As for my recommendation...I would highly recommend the J-drama Summer Snow. I just finished watching it not too long ago and I was deeply touched by the whole series. It's defainately deserving of the number 2 spot on the Top 50 J-dramas on this webpage.
You will fall in love and relate to the characters, while also cry your heart out in the end. And believe me you will cry or tear up if you have any kind of a heart. This is all coming from a 20 yr old male, so think about it.
Just go and download/buy this! Whatever you do watch it!
BTW: Are there any other series that are like this? (I have Beautiful Life already)

Hi everyone...
I see many recommendations from different people, but I was wondering if y'all could help me out with a specific request for a recommendation.
I just finished watching Yamato Nadeshiko, and I LOVED it. 10/10 for sure. I also liked GTO (10/10). These two are in two different categories, but I feel like each were great in their own ways. I did watch Beautiful Life, but I rate that a 6/10 (maybe 7). Also currently watching Long Vacation (waiting for ep 10), but I don't know what I'd rate it yet... so much depends on the latter few episodes, as was the case for Yamato Nadeshiko.
Anyways, I really really really REALLY REALLY like Matsushima Nanako's performances, and was wondering if someone could recommend a GOOD dorama with her in it. The reason I emphasize GOOD is because I am really strained for any sort of free time, and I would rather not spend it on watching average or below average doramas.
Any help would be appreciated.
(on a side note, Yamato Nadeshiko has seriously made me consider going back to grad school... )

I think that Yamato Nadeshiko was one of Nanako's best drama. I would recommend Beauty or Beast and Koori no sekai. Koori no sekai is a suspense drama done with Takenouchi Yutaka.
