The street are either loaded with snow or ice. Your either stuck or can't stop on street corners. I saw a lot of plastic and broken glass everywhere. I've skipped a few stop signs myself.
Thank god for ABS brakes.
dang...so when it is that cold out there, like 20 degrees or less constantly, do you guys turn on the heat on day and night in your houses?

Yes. The electricity consumption, for a regular house, is the same in winter here, than in Phoenix in summertime with the AC running. It's just a little colder. Some people are lucky and can heat themselves with a nice warm fire.
If you don't turn on the heat all the time, the water pipes freeze and explode and you have a nice mess. _________________

that'd be fuggin' nice if you won......if i won a shiet load of money...i'd charter a jet or buy a shiet load of 1st class tickets and have a jdorama.com japan trip for all the usual suspects here! how fun what that be!!!

dang, so you need the heat on constantly, or else the pipes freeze and blow up? that's serious. it must get super dry indoors, with all that heat, probably need a humidifier too to lessen the dryness.
40's in Florida too. I really thought Florida and California were warmer than that during winter. Nights are cold there too.
yeah, i guess Cal and Florida can get cold in the wintertime, like maybe lows in the 30's at times, but atleast for California, it usually doesn't drop below 30, very rarely. and the high temp in the winter day time, is around 60's, sometimes in the 50's.
