Yes. The electricity consumption, for a regular house, is the same in winter here, than in Phoenix in summertime with the AC running. It's just a little colder. Mr Green Some people are lucky and can heat themselves with a nice warm fire.

If you don't turn on the heat all the time, the water pipes freeze and explode and you have a nice mess. bleh

... but we have elections soon, so it's really boring on tv. They, somehow, found a few billions of $ lying around. Rolling eyes

All my hopes are on that lottery ticket. Fingers crossed More or less�c I never won anything, but it's only 2 bucks and I wouldn't mind $17,000,000. Mr Green

that'd be fuggin' nice if you won......if i won a shiet load of money...i'd charter a jet or buy a shiet load of 1st class tickets and have a jdorama.com japan trip for all the usual suspects here! how fun what that be!!!

can you imagine just booking all the rooms on one floor at some pimp ass hotel like the park hyatt or four seasons...it'd be like a block party!

dang, so you need the heat on constantly, or else the pipes freeze and blow up? that's serious. it must get super dry indoors, with all that heat, probably need a humidifier too to lessen the dryness. Bonk

40's in Florida too. bleh I really thought Florida and California were warmer than that during winter. Puppy Dog Eyes Nights are cold there too. Sad

no, i am from Northern Cal. originally, now in So.Cal.

the only part of Canada that i have been to, is Vancouver, and it is cold there too, probably as cold as the part of canada you are from.

you live near Toronto?

yeah, i guess Cal and Florida can get cold in the wintertime, like maybe lows in the 30's at times, but atleast for California, it usually doesn't drop below 30, very rarely. and the high temp in the winter day time, is around 60's, sometimes in the 50's. Bonk

North Florida can go down into the teen's some nights. I lose my flower garden every year. Shake Head
