Just looked up a weather map on BBC for UK. Gosh ! it's minus 1 and minus 2 from north to south. More snow and ice. I think the Arctic decided to move for the winter.

As that Flanders and Swann song went...

"Here comes Bloody January again."

Although everything outside is crisp (crunchy snow and all), the sun is blazing with a vengeance. Nice balance between hot and cold.

It's gonna be crisp in parts of Victoria today, but for a different reason. It's supposed to hit 43C (110F) Sweat Not quite so hot in Sydney though.

Temp is only 30 here. Bet Orlando is colder than 41 already.

I could really use some warm waffles about now. Bleah

It's 68.F out on my patio down here at the beach.
It's 1:15pm and slightly cloudy but the sun breaking thru.

This would be a summer day in UK I think.
Have no idea if my cousin in UK is hibernating with all that snow and ice and low temps. I think their Tiscali computer provider is on the blink...again.....no reply to my emails.

People surfing here but I bet the Pacific is cold.
