I don't know what to tell you... It's like a movie you don't want to see: If you go in with a negative attitude, you won't like the movie...

It's all a matter of taste! Smile Since "London Calling" is generally acknowledged as a classic rock-n-roll album, if someone doesn't like it, I'd say they are in the minority ... or maybe they just don't like good old rock-n-roll. In which case, it's moot from the get go.

IMNSHO, seeing as what passes for music these days is mostly crap, I like to keep a lot of old stuff in my playlist.

I just listened to Alice Cooper. Now playing Allman Brothers, next up is Janis Joplin... turned up to 11!
Smile

Yep. I agree. It was my optimistic hope that I could convince this person that there wasa lot of great music in the 80's, but alas....

Mikuni Shimokawa - Review album
She sings her own version of the renowned anime songs such as Cruel Angel Thesis from Evangelion and Do You Remember Love from Macross: Do You Remeber Love. Pretty good.

I haven't made any suggestions that you've liked, so I won't make any more... If you like the PDiddy remake of a Police track over the original, then I can't help you... Beaten Sweat

I gotcha. But to make a large-scale generalization like "80's music sucks" is bound to put people on the defensive, neh? Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. Sweat
