See though.. the thing I love about Gackt is how spread his music is. Some of it is heavy, some soft, and some unique. Which is why I love his music so much ^^.

I've been downloading heaps and heaps of Gackt movies >.<
I probably have 3gig worth now *sigh* Buttt like alot of you I bet, I'm having trouble understanding them! I know a little japanese, enough to introduce myself and find out someones age etc, and thats about it. So I'm kinda screwed when it comes to these movies ^^

I was just wondering if anyone could
A. Tell me where a place to find translations might be?
or
B. Be willing to translate.

Either way, what I'm hoping to do is sub the ones that aren't already, because I REALLY hate no knowing what they're saying ^^

And one more thing... I'm thinking of uploading most of these on BitTorrent, because the only place I've found these movies anywhere so far is J-pop suki, and lets face it, their seed rate is s**t. So I'm hoping to find a decent tracker and serve all these Gackt movies in sets. You guys think this is a good idea? >.<

I'm sure that Gackt has some male fans, but they're not going to ask to see a bunch of his stuff like most girls do. Besides, you'll find most of the guys in the "General Discussion" forum or in some female actresses thread . They're not gonna go to a guy's thread....trust me on that one .

I'm even suprised at myself for coming to this thread so much. I have to find an artist extremely talented and interesting to even consider spending even a second on them. Gackt far exceeds both requirements. The fact that he has a pretty face doesn't hurt either . But again, it takes more than a pretty face to impress me. So rock on Gackt-sama . Also, seeing his old stuff isn't boring to me because before now I'd never seen it before .

As far as the 3 gigs - 150 gigs thing...sugoi . The only things that I have on my computer at home are a couple of Tackey and Tsubasa clips, some Gackt clips, a few Hyde clips, some Do As Infinity songs....and about a million lab reports and scholarly articles . My dedication is quite divided and issued out between my education and my fandom as you can see .

I don't know what he's really like off stage. The way that he acts may be completely and totally staged, but that's cool. It makes things more nteresting, ne? I think that that whole bisexual thing with Hyde and whom ever else it concerned was strictly fan service...but that's just my opinion .

Yeah, I completely understand what you meant coz I've been worried at myself lately for laughing at programs I don't get at all. Hmmm...strangely enuff, although I don't know 99.999999% of what's being said...I do find them funny..no fake laughter on my part. Why is that? Probably I've been watching too many Gackt clips.

where did you get that dvd ? OMG!! I absolutely love the Speed Master live. I keep watching it and watching it. He he...I don't know what he's like off the stage...although I'm dying to know too. But of course it's all show. No one can keep up that kind of energy for too long. I read he often faints after his cons. My message to the guy is..."Gackt-chan, go eat more rice!!" Honestly, he's too hardworking it worries me sometime.

I wish I could find that DVD here in Malaysia...to the Malaysian Gackt fans...what say you we collaborate to find DVD cons eh? More manpower equals more covered area.

I agree with all of you, Moon is definitely his best album, but some songs of the other albums (older and newer ones) are also typical gakkun ) fy-chan Love Letter is very good too, but it's more calm then his other cds, would recommend to listen to all the songs you can get but since you've seen one of his lives you already know what kind of style he has...^^

lilwystynyra I always thought that Illness Illusion is a MM song have to listen to it againsome time...sorry if I'm wrong! edit: sorry i'm wrong I checked it out now...hehr, proves that I have to listen to older songs more! *g* shame on me

Yeah, I didn't get Flasget to work either, for some reason, and had to ask some friends to help me out with it:

Open the MU link -> wait for the 45 sec waiting time to finish
Right click on "Click to download" box -> scroll down and choose "Download using Flashget"
A dialog box opens -> for split option, choose 1
Then ok...and wallah...flashget is downloading.

However, I find that when I queue all my files, only the first file get downloaded, the rest will all have the X sign the moment the first one was finished downloaded. Don't know why. Just test it first...line up only 2 files. If the queue doesn't work, you have to download 1 link at a time.

But MU is still soooooo slow...1-2kb/s!!!! If it's not for its limitless time option, I'd never use it.

about MU, unless your files finish downloading in a short time, better not queue up anything..it's because the 'click to download' links will change after some time..so the links you queued up with would be invalid...

I've been a fan for sometime (since 2001 to be exact). I discovered Gackt purely by accident. An anime fansite had posted a "Gackt Special" with five songs available for download. There was this gorgeous pic of him entangled in what appeared to be wire and he was sporting his blonde "vanilla" look. His royal hotness was sizzling on my monitor. Oooh I was smitten. Never looked back since.

I'm personally not a big fan of his last album "Love Letter" but love all of his other albums. Some of my personal faves:
