i've got the english and mandarin ones, and i must say gackt's mandarin is really good. if i didn't noe it was gackt, i might actually believe it's by a chinese singer especially the 2nd half of the song

So, it's okay. Plus, you get to touch the CD cover. How lucky is that? I can't find a single Gackt CD yet in my JRock-starved town and I'm quite broke to buy it from YesAsia . But soon as I get the money, I'm doing a splurge on the Platinum boxes. I checked them out and found that I - III (or is it II?) are out of print...aaaarrggh!!! Must get money quickly or everything's gonna be out of print by the time I can get to them.
Anyway, expect the uploaded files by tomorrow coz I'm kinda doing a marathon uploading activity for my long neglected blog. So it will be quite a que. Hope my baka connection can take it.

I read in another forum that Gackt sang that song with Lee Hom. So probably it is he you heard in the 2nd half coz their voices kinda sound similar in some places. But since Gackt has been in my ears for so many days now (remember Arittake no Ai De?)...I sorta pick up his vibes so it's pretty distinguishable. But yeah, if I hadn't been told that Lee Hom is in it, I would have thought the whole song was Gackt. He is that good? Since I don't know Mandarin, I'll take your word for it.

now i feel like a baka knowing lee hom is in it as well . i kinda can tell the difference after listening again .... lee hom's diction is clearer and gackt's voice is more "trembling?", i don't noe the exact word for it but in mandarin is "dou ying" but gackt's mandarin is still good at least i can understand part of it

after everyone was like sugoi! and shocked so couldn't really hear what gackt was saying but i think he was suggesting they talk to each other in mandarin again when they are alone and vivian said "ke yi" which is ok!
i think she was speechless cos his mandarin was good, not what he was saying

Yeah, yeah...I recognised the wo men, ta men and sou yi in the first sentence he uttered, but that's as far as my mandarin goes. I was quite frustrated coz the audience was so noisy and I couldn't hear what he was saying afterwards...grrrr. But if it were me, I'd be screaming sugoii too...he he. Gackt didn't have a trace of Japanese accent when he was speaking Mandarin in that clip...I was gaping infront of the monitor for...like, the entire clip and a few repeats after.
