I didn't mean that having a jpop looking pv is an insult to L'arc-en-ciel. And I did say it was weird in a good way - strange and
not common. I guess, in this case, we all have different opinions and preference on things. For one, I liked the link pv (I must admit).
And you're right - L'Arc has many pop songs and they're of just as good quality as their rock songs are. I love their songs (I don't care how people would classify them - to me, it's just simply L'arc's music).
It's just that as the band matures, the seventh heaven pv was very unlikely - and quite unexpected (for me, that is). I know my friend would like the pv (once I show it to him). And even though we may not have the same opinion, we both love laruku just the same.
So, please don't think that what I meant by saying the pv is 'j-poppish' is an insult to Laruku. And it would really piss me off if anyone would insult L'Arc. Understand that I'm commenting on the pv's style (hmmm . . . I wonder who directed it . . . )- not the band.

The first time I saw the cover I thought it was very ugly because of that fluorescent green, but now I like it. The earth/apple wrapped by the snake is original. Maybe the song has a little critic, so many persons has that feeling of heaven and a good next life, but the truth is more simple, the earth is the only heaven, a paradise to enjoy.

I was so funny.
Before HYDE sent a kiss to TEUSU.
He said to the Fans about , He Thanks everyone that to came to seen the concert in that night. And then he sent a kiss to the crows.
So , TETSU did a requested something as same as the Fans got.
When HYDE was listened, He was very shy.
then ,He pause in a minute and sent his a kiss to tetsu.

It was very funny.

Maybe.
Well, we can see the snake around the earth (apple), this might show that with time,
people will suffer, or gradually suffocate.
Something else that I find questionable is the "Apple". They could have used any other thing that has more of a "round" shape in place of the earth, where we find the apple not completely of that shape. They could have used something else such as a ball or an orange though. What do you think everyone? The apple might symbolize something ..

The members of L'Arc~en~Ciel are probably Shinto or athiest, except for Hyde, he might be Christian, since he did so much research for his faith album, and almost all of the songs he's written after 2003 talk mainly about God.

Hyde's in no way a Christian. He just is really interested in faith and the power religion can have on people. So he has sung a lot about it on his solo work. At first glance a lot of it might seem pro-christianity, until you really read some of the lyrics in detail and find they tend to be quite critical of religion.
A few years ago he once said he didn't believe in God, but around the release of his Faith album, a lot of people started asking him about his beliefs in detail and he would say that he believes in a god, but one that doesn't take part in our life. So, he seems to be a deist (someone that believes in a god that created the universe but has done nothing else to affect our lives).

I also think that the members of L'Arc are atheist... and all these crosses or rosaries are just fashion items. And shadowthrone is right, if you listen carefully to the lyrics of Hyde's Faith there's also some slight criticism.

Well, Anis is of Japanese and Moroccan descent, he speaks Japanese, French, English and Arabic. I'm not sure about Anis' religion though. Ali is of Japanese-American descent so he's not an Arab. The name Ali itself is not so uncommon in America these days, you can find many ppl use that name. One of them is actress Ali Larter.
The cover is very 60's visual art IMO. I don't like the fluorescent green background though, it just doesn't go along with the art. I think the snake and the apple represents The Garden of Eden, which suits one of the single, Seventh Heaven. I wonder if the new album will have a theme like their previous album AWAKE. _________________

The lyrics of JESUS CHRIST can be deceptive, but it's sung from a perspective of a very religious Christian (not Hyde) that is calling out to Jesus/God to save his innocent dying child. He continues on speaking of how strong his faith is but he hears no answer to his prayers, and so he starts saying "take me instead."
It's a clever song about the futility of prayer. Either God's not there (atheist) or he just doesn't take part in human life (deist). So it's fairly consistent with statements in interviews.
Sorry about starting to turn this into a religious discussion.

Did Your country have the Japanese book stores, Ex. Kinokuniya or Tokyodo?
I did to order from many sources.
