Except for ken, this is the first time the rest of L'Arc~en~Ciel's members are in Shanghai. Lets hear their impressions of Shanghai.
yuki: It was like the movie "Blade Runner".
Then what does lead vocalist hyde think?
hyde: I heard that the buildings here were all very tall. The various buildings were very beautiful.
tetsu: The streets were very wide. It was great. Also, the high-rise structures were well-designed. It was great overall.
L'Arc~en~Ciel's arrival has ignited the long-suppressed passions of the fans. Lets find out their impressions of the Chinese fans
tetsu: Initially we heard that most of the fans will be very quiet. But we found out later that everyone were very frantic. We felt very welcomed. I am very happy.
hyde: I was feeling "I won't be killed right?" Really felt that I was going to die. I was thinking whether or not someone will die. Very nervous. When I was here on Monday (referring to the 09/05 press session), I was feeling nervous all the time even until I got down from the plane.
yuki: When we were boarding the vehicle, someone knocked on the glass windows "Pom! Pom!", I was scared and felt afraid.
ken: It was indeed. You can't stand up during lives - that was what we heard it was like in China. But everyone still stood on their chairs, this wasn't the same as what I have heard.
The live in Shanghai has left deep impressions on the members. Why did they choose Shanghai in the first place?
ken: We received alot of fan mail from Asia, America and Europe. We felt that here (in Shanghai), there might be alot of fans waiting for us.
yuki: It was because of that point.
hyde: I heard that there were alot of kawaii girls in Shanghai.

After coming to Shanghai, hyde's opinion of the girls in Shanghai is...
hyde: It is really not bad! Really. I have been saying it these few days - things like "So kawaii!!" etc. Please excuse me.
tetsu: Yes. It was indeed not bad. I also heard that there were alot of kawaii girls here. So I came.
hyde's solo single will be released in Japan soon. Does he have plans to come to China again?
hyde: On one hand, considering the whole of Asia, it will generally be like the Japan tours (I am not sure what he meant by this. What I think is, like the publicity tours to Taiwan for his first album, he will be doing some travelling for his upcoming solo stuff as well). It would be great if I had a chance to come here again.

hyde: I haven't ate Peking Duck yet. I want to try it. I like it.
tetsu: Delicious fried rice. *mumbles to himself "Delicious fried rice* It sounds very boring and normal. There is also Peking Duck.
During the live, the sight of fans singing Jyojyoushi along with him has left a deep impression on hyde. Having penned the lyrics, what he wished to express was...
hyde: The feeling of pure love. I have already written alot of lyrics. Regarding this one, the feeling was very pure and mature. Felt like bringing out the feeling of pure love through singing.

hyde: *mumbles* How to put it...the ability to firmly believe in the existence of "eternity" in this world. Thats the kind of feeling.
The short period of time in Shanghai will always have a special place in the hearts of L'Arc~en~Ciel and their fans forever. Lastly, let us hear what they would like to say most to the fans in China
tetsu: I believe alot of people are still not familiar with us. Please listen to our CD.
hyde: I have ate alot since I came here. Taken a liking to the high-class Shanghai dishes. I also wish to try those snacks. There should still be alot of delicious things to eat here. I feel like eating some more.
yuki: This is the first time holding a concert in Shanghai. To have such a great concert, I really wish to come here again.
ken: The live this time was really very great. Really wish to come back again. Also wish to listen to the works from the local musicians and bands here. Because I have seen some on the TV in the hotel.
