The final leg of L'Arc~en~Ciel's ASIALIVE Tour is being held at Tokyo Dome. After the Real Tour in 2000, the band is again holding a live at Tokyo Dome. There were two big TV screens at both sides of the stage. It started playing some footage similar to that of the live in Seoul and Shanghai - words like L'Arc~en~Ciel, ASIALIVE Tour 2005 and the image of the dragon. The two walkways at the side of the stage were really short, just an extension of the stage. Inside the Dome, they were playing some foreign rock tunes. Suddenly, on both TV screens, Ciel-chan appeared. Ciel-chan is the official fan club mascot. He or she was explaining some rules that fans inside the Dome had to observe. It was very cute! At about 6.15pm, the lights went off, signalling the start of ASIALIVE Tour at Tokyo Dome!
Footages started playing on both TV screens at the sides. They included: the filming of ��'s PV in Germany, 1998's winterfall at Death Valley (the National Park), Switzerland's trip, 1999's Pieces in New York, Driver's High's PV, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand's Asia interview tour, B-Pass filming in Thailand, 2000's finale filming in Hawaii...until 2005's ASIALVE Tour in Seoul and Shanghai. Sudeenly, the words "TOKYO DOME" appeared on the screens and...L'Arc~en~Ciel has finally appeared!!! hyde's outfit today - sleeveless long black coat with a black vest inside. He was also wearing black leather pants and had some golden highlights on the right side of his hair. tetsu was wearing a long-sleeved dark gray coat with some English words on it. Inside was a white tee. He was also wearing white pants and brown boots like in the Shanghai live. There were bright red highlights on his hair at the back that were very eye-catching. ken was wearing a black western suit and dark brown shades. yuki was wearing a loose white-colored tee with a black vest inside. He was wearing a head band today too. His pants were black in color.
The first song of the day was Killing Me. Flames appeared on the stage. It was a little hot. From the start, tetsu started running towards the left walkway. He was very close to the fans. Next was Promised Land. When it came to the lines "devil's walk in the strawberry fields", the fans sang along. Next was Driver's High, the two TV screens started showing an animation of Ciel-chan driving. It was very cute! hyde started running towards the left walkway and in the midst, he tripped. But he just laughed and continued singing.

hyde: We are L'Arc~en~Ciel. Yes, Tokyo Dome, we are back.
fans: Welcome back!
(later part)
hyde: That...it has become an interest recently. That 鍊�� (I don't know how to translate this, its referring to the human wave game).
At this point, hyde starts to gesture to the fans where the wave is supposed to start and end.
hyde: 鍊��!!!
The wave seemed to have stopped halfway.
hyde: Eh? It is not coming back? Eh? Eh?
Luckily there were still some fans doing it in the opposite direction (back to the stage). When the wave reached the stage, hyde jumped as well! The sight was impressive!! (Of course, 50000 fans...)
After the human wave game, it was the fourth song of the day - snow drop. It was another song not heard during lives for some time. Blueish flowery patterns appeared on top of the Dome. tetsu was making funny faces at the camera, he was extremely cute! hyde was also fooling around - with the microphone. After that was another popular song - winterfall. hyde's vocal transitions between the pitches were very perfect! This was followed by Caress of Venus. They performed alot of old songs today. Again, hyde ran to the left walkway. During HEAVEN'S DRIVE, tetsu was all smiles throughout. In the midst of the guitar solo, tetsu jumped his way to hyde's side and they leaned on each other. tetsu was smiling very happily! hyde was feeling good too. He looked as if he was about to kiss tetsu.

ken said some stuff about not being in Tokyo Dome for quite a long while. He asked if the fans remembered the live of 1997 - the Reincarnation live. It was touching.
ken: I think it was around the time of the 1999 Grand Cross Tour, a song that carried the touching emotions of that time, please listen to LOVE FLIES.
After LOVE FLIES, it was ���. A projection of a huge tree appeared at the back of the stage. It felt like the PV. After ���, green laser lights appeared from the four corners of the stage. hyde and ken waved at the fans, trying to get the fans to shout with them. But because it was too soft, about half the fans could not react in time. Luckily, during the performance itself, the fans shouted together. The atmosphere was great! An image of a dragon appeared at the back of the stage. It was very cool! Next was New World and ���R�ւ̏���, during the lines "���������̂Ɂ@�����@��肭�s���Ȃ�" hyde pointed the mic at the fans and all 50000 present sang along.

tetsu: That...that ASIALIVE, we went to Korea right? We had a huge shock at the airport ne! Its name was Mukimpo Airport!! (Not sure of the name) *laughs* It was really shocking!
It was a very short MC from tetsu.
hyde: Hey, hey, hey! Thats all?! You had better say more! *laughs*
tetsu: *smiling very happily* Eh? What? What does everyone want to hear? That...Shanghai live, there was a hurricane right? I was staying in a 5-star hotel, felt that the hotel was shaking and trembling!
After that was another FMA song - LOST HEAVEN. Like the AWAKE Tour, the fans sang along with the lines "We'll say goodbye, Lost Heaven". After LOST HEAVEN, tetsu again held a banana and used it as a pick. He played a bass solo and threw the banana into the fans. During today's STAY AWAY, Ciel-chan actually ran onto the stage, a very big one! hyde ran to the left walkway again and even knelt down to look at the fans below. ken also ran to the left walkway, laughing very happily. After that was READY STEADY GO, there were at least two shouts of "Are you fucking ready!?". This time, hyde ran to the right walkway. After RSG, the four of them went backstage.
While everyone was waiting for them to reappear, there were sudden screams at the back of the seating areas. There was a small stage at the back and staff were preparing the stage. Then yuki and ken appeared from the left exit, sitting in a small car with the words "ASIALIVE" on them. hyde and tetsu appeared from right exit. tetsu changed his attire and shoes. Everyone of them was holding small rubber balls which they threw at the fans. They extended their hands and waved at the fans. Some of the fans close enough managed to touch the members' hands. The cars were driven by the staff.

fans: YEAH!!!!
tetsu: Its P'UNK~EN~CIEL, not L'Arc~en~Ciel! *laughs* Is everyone feeling fine? The first level? Second level?
The first P'unk song was milky way. The "1.2.3.GO" this time was also shouted by the fans. Later, during Round and Round, tetsu appeared to be straining himself when singing. Many of the lines were sung by the fans. After the P'unk performances ended, the four of them went backstage again in the cars. This time, hyde and tetsu went towards the left exit while ken and yuki went towards the right. tetsu's hands were waving non-stop at the fans. Everyone was touching him! He suddenly crossed his arms at his chest defensively, as if trying to protect something (from fans' molestation of course). hyde's car was behind tetsu's. He was making kisses to the fans. For some reason, hyde's underwear showed. It was black in color. When he sat down, it was exposed - quite alot.
Later, the TV screens showed a news presenter ���@�^���q, she was very cute! It was L'Arc news time. They first showed live footages from the live in Korea. And then it talked about hyde and tetsu's experience of eating Korean delicacies (this was mentioned in the TFM show too). In front of hyde was fresh octopus, although it was already cut up into pieces. But...it was still moving...hyde was smiling bitterly. tetsu and the staff kept on urging hyde to try it. hyde had no choice but to pick up his chopsticks and grabbed a piece. When his chopsticks touched it, it moved violently! hyde immediately backed off far away. tetsu said: "Yes. It is not that I don't want to eat it, but my doctor said that I can't eat this. Come, come, come. hyde, eat it quick!". hyde unwillingly put it into his mouth and he looked as if he was in pain. Next was the report from Shanghai. hyde and ken were trying their best to learn Chinese. Especially hyde. After that was ken's very famous MC in Shanghai. ken was holding onto a small notebook as he said "I killed 5 chickens in the hotel last night". (His mis-pronounced effort was originally "I played Wu Zi Qi in the hotel last night). "...."s started appearing on the screens. It was extremely funny!
After the L'Arc news, the beginning of Blurry Eyes started playing. hyde blowed a whistle once and threw it into the crowd. The two TV screens at the side started playing footages of them from different times. When the footage of tetsu in long hair (yes, long hair) was shown, the fans screamed! After that was DIVE TO BLUE, �Z�H~lose control�C�ԑ�, until the last PARADE song, flower. hyde played his harmonica and even threw it into the crowd. The backstage staff then handed hyde his guitar, and the intro to HONEY was heard. Like HEAVEN'S DRIVE, tetsu again ran to hyde's side. This was the second time today. tetsu was again laughing very happily. What followed was another highlight of today's live. While the fans were clapping to the beat of Link, dozens of huge balloons dropped onto the fans. The fans were tossing them around like a game. The atmosphere was terrific. Like in the Shanghai live, the part before the solo was extended and Ciel-chan suddenly ran onto the stage, saying that it wanted to do a members introduction today.

Ciel-chan: Firstly, drum yukihiro, number 303. Please tell us what you have dreamt about recently, and how you are feeling right now.
yuki: *laughs foolishly and desparately asks hyde, who is smoking, for help* Eh? Dreams? I don't really remember, really. *laughs foolishly again and keeps on touching his hair* I think it was, because I was feeling hungry in the middle of the night, I felt like going out to order something, in the end I went to eat noodles. My feelings now...yes. It is very touching to hold a live in Tokyo Dome.
Ciel-chan: Thank you.
At the end, yuki said that the "dream" was made up by him.
Ciel-chan: Next, bass tetsu, number 69. Expert at throwing bananas.
Ciel-chan took out a banana and passed it to tetsu who threw it into the crowd.
Ciel-chan: Please throw one more.
At this point of time, tetsu pulled up his shirt, and plucked up a banana that was hidden somewhere in his pants.
tetsu: Do you wish to eat it???
fans: YES!!!
The entire Dome was in a frenzy.
Then he threw it into the fans.
Ciel-chan: Next, guitar ken, number 5. Recently, you have been taking alot of strolls.
ken was dragging some rubbery brown object. Whenever ken moved the rope on his hand, the object will move on its own.
ken: I bought this in Korea!
He continued playing with it and used it to bully Ciel-chan.
Ciel-chan: Thank you ken-chan! NEXT!!!!
ken: Eh?????
Ciel-chan: vocal hyde, number 666. Please sing a foreign song. Also please use Chinese and Korean to say "I love you" to everyone here.
hyde: *smiles bitterly*
The song "smoke on the water" starts playing. When hyde starts to sing, everyone stops playing. This goes on for a while. When hyde manages to sing a few lines, tetsu didn't play his bass and looked at hyde, laughing non-stop.
hyde: *after thinking for a while* I love you. How are you? (in Korean)
fans: Fine!
hyde: I love you!
Ciel-chan: Thank you. Thats all from the members today.
After that, they continued with the Link performance.

yuki said stuff about today's live being very touching, and he also said "I love you" in Korean. He then looked as if he did not know what to say. Finally, he said "Rock. Paper. Scissors!" He was doing "Paper". It was cute seeing him play this game with the fans.
After hyde's MC (not recorded) was ���̏Z�l. After that was the last song of the day, ��.

hyde: Today's live, there should be around 50000 people? Yes? If its 50000, it can be a city! *laughs* A song for the person I like, please listen to ��.
During ��, white feathers fell from the "sky". After that, the four of them went backstage. tetsu reappeared, again with you-know-what, and threw them into the crowd. This time, that were also eggplants, and a banana-shaped watergun. After tetsu's "See you again", the first day of the ASIALIVE Tour at Tokyo Dome came to an end.

(This report is rather short)
During the MC today, ken said that they had a cosplay party while in Shanghai. tetsu said the same stuff as yesterday - about the airport in Korea and the hurricane in Shanghai. He said that it was trembling violently at the 50-something floor of the hotel. Suddenly one of the fans shouted out that it was the 53rd floor. tetsu said that it was amazing that the fan even knew these details.
Today's P'unk performance was very high. When tetsu came out in his vehicle, he was wearing pink bunny ears ( ... ). After he got onto the stage, he threw the ears into the audience and removed his coat - inside was a pink punkish outfit. hyde got down from his vehicle and ran towards the fans on the first level and climbed up the fence just like Spider-man (Tokyo Dome has these fences because of the baseball games that are being held there). During the intervals between the P'unk songs, tetsu made weird rumbling noises and also shouted "�s����!!!" (trying to imitate hyde). He even said to the other members, "One more song, are the ojisans feeling okay?" Before ken went up the stage into his drumming position, he made some monkey actions which the fans also followed.
While on the way back to the stage in their vehicles, tetsu threw a half-eaten banana into the crowd. Before he went up the stage, he made the action of folding his arms across his chest. For hyde, he was blowing kisses all the way.
After they got on the stage, it was L'Arc news again. This time, everything was about the Shanghai live. The first thing shown was the situation after the concert when they were getting onto the vans that were being surrounded. It was scary to see it. From inside, you could see all the windows on the vehicles shaking. It was said that they only managed to leave after an hour.
Then footage of ken and some staff members going to the Oriental Pearl to have fun at night was shown. ken-chan was very hilarious. One moment he wanted to choose some small models, another moment he said he wanted the same shining stuff on the Oriental Pearl Tower! Lastly, they announced that the Shanghai live footage will be aired on Shanghai TV. For the sake of the Japanese fans, they played some footage today too. Almost everyone were seated watching the L'Arc news.
After Link, the members' introduction by Ciel-chan followed. Ciel-chan was much more cuter today with alot more actions. The members were also bullying him - covering his eyes and hitting his head. Because hyde was the last to be introduced today, he was playing with the fans at the walkway.
It was the same number 303 for yuki today. When asked which part of him he thought was handsome, yuki said that it was his butt . He then turned around and pulled up his shirt till the waist level to reveal his butt (of course, pants on). For ken-chan, it was number 5. tetsu was given 69 again. When asked to throw another banana, tetsu became naughty again. He gave the video cameras the sight of his lower erm...body...erm...slowly bulging. And then he took out a banana and a black-ish eggplant. hyde chose 666 again and he tried to imitate Doraemon. It was so cute! Speciality - 炼��术!!! (the wave game thing). Then hyde led the fans in playing the wave game again. In the middle, hyde requested for the lights to be turned on for those in the first and second levels so that the wave could be clearly seen.
During the last song ��, everyone brought out the light sticks given out by the staff beforehand (green, blue and yellow). The entire Dome was lighted with tiny 'stars'. In front of the stage, feathers were falling again.
Towards the end, tetsu brought a basket of fruits to throw. He also said that today, you could get as many bananas as you wanted. yuki also stayed behind to greet the fans. tetsu even shared his bananas with yuki.
Before tetsu went back, he said "See you next time!".
And so, it ended.

i think they do this because you're buying the music and not the pictures. if you want pictures of them, theres always magazines right? this way, they can make sure that they are successful because their music is amazing and not just because their image is great (and highly drool-able) XD

Taking a break from studying for my test...

- you buy a brand new copy of their album when the one you have received a bad scratch or the booklet got stained.
- and you keep that brand new copy sealed within the plastic covering it came in till the end of the world.
- you are still up at 4am in the morning downloading videos of them.
- you slam anyone who tells you GLAY is a better band than them.
- you have more than 20GB of videos in your harddisk.
- you buy a tetsu model bass guitar just because it looked nice.
- you send their mp3s to un-Laruku friends through MSN - even though they didn't ask for it.
- you do translations instead of studying for your test tomorrow...

I so wish for them to make a DVD from this concert! I will keep my fingers crossed for two DVD's...maybe they will come out with it next year while they are all doing solo work
