I don't like Setsuna.
Early Cain from the series definately doesn't look like him. Only after Kaori Yuki came back to the series after putting it on hold for 4 years to do Angel Sanctuary did her new art style make Cain look hyde-ish.
So I don't think Cain was created based on hyde originally.
Since Rociel and Alexiel are twins... I guess if Rociel was based off hyde, Alexiel would have to be at least partially based off him as well wouldn't she?
I don't think Rociel is stuck-up. More like he KNOWS he looks good and is worshipped and isn't modest about it.
One girl said on that forum that some characters were based off hyde from different stages of hyde's career. That might explain the resemblence with Lucifer.

I went to both shows in Southern California. Both were so incredible.
I have to say, the LA crowd was a lot more mellow than the Anaheim crowd. I think it's because the venue was bigger so there was a lot more space, and the AC was on this time (thank the Lord!). There was still pushing and rushing towards the stage, but not as much and as intense as Anaheim.
Hyde is such an awesome performer. He and the band completely blew me away. What was great about the show in LA was that he was wearing a light brown denim jacket with no shirt underneath and a pair of jeans. For the encore, he came out without the jacket so all of us there got to see Hyde shirtless. Oh yes, I was screaming like a crazy fangirl. I have to say, he is very white. I can't believe how pale he is. His skin is so translucent. I have to say, Hyde is looking very good, especially since he's around 36 or 37 years old. I dunno. But there was a time when he did start to look a lot older. Now he looks so young and healthy. I think he's taking better care of himself now.
The highlight of LA's show was (well, at least for me) when Hyde spoke to the crowd in English. First he said, "Are you happy to see me?" followed by "I'm not afraid. Because there is love here." Then he said "If I come back to perform in US, will you..." He paused for a second and totally forgot what he was supposed to say. He looks on the ground where his paper is and finishes reading "...will you be here?" It was sooooo cute.
I loved how they played "Evergreen" in a totally rocked out version. It was awesome. "Countdown" was a lot of fun, too, since everyone was jumping around and the band was totally rocking out on stage.
I have lots of funny stories about what happened after the concert (crazy fan incidents) but I'll save those for another time. _________________

I'm not surprised if many of her character designs were influenced from hyde, rather than totally based off him. I still need to read Caine, so i can't make a judgement on that series yet.
I wish the images on that forum was still working...

Yes, like i said, both of them was based from hyde.
And yes, they were based of hyde from different stages of hyde's career.
I think Kaori Yuki did a great work. when i see her artbook, Lost Angel, the cover really strike me as hyde. So i was looking if there is another mangaka that can draw hyde in such way too.

It's quite hard to beat Kaori Yuki's wonderful art ^^
Recently there's a boom in a new style that seems to be in the j-rock style (can't remember the specific name)

Lost Angel? I thought the artbook was called Angel Cage. Was there another one released or is Lost Angel the overseas name for it or something?
The Angel Cage artbook was sooooo pretty! I wish there was a Count Cain artbook.
shirokiryuu, I think you misunderstood the Godchild title. Count Cain is a series that's divided into different arcs. Godchild is the final and longest arc in the series.
When the series just started off, Kaori Yuki wasn't so good yet and Count Cain was kinda lame it only started getting good after she came back to it from a 4 year break for Angel Sanctuary.
Viz made a smart move and saved money I guess by only licensing that one arc and not the whole series.
I hate Setsuna and Sara. Especially Sara. How did such a cool lady like Gabriel turn into something like Sara? My favourite AS characters have gotta be Rociel and Michael.

Oh really? Thanks for clearing that up! I really didn't know anything about it, other than people putting God Child (Count Cain) so i assumed they were the same series. XD
I admittingly only read angel sanctuary.. and i think i crammed 20 volumes in one week. My favorite character was Kato, poor guy =(
I really really wanted to get Angel's Cage, but my mom wouldn't let me .. well i don't think i woujld want her to know i was reading this series anyways XD
Sara annoyed me from the start, and Setsuna really makes bad choices XD But it wasn't as annoying as the fact there's only a compressed OAV, and not anime series..
Anyways, i must get back on topic!

In the latest file I've uploaded,there are interviews to the members between songs and backstage clips.In the DVD you can also choose to watch only the interviews,but they are the same^^
