It's kind of hard to read because it's kind of small but from what I can read, it's definitely not to be used in an oven.
There's the line オーベン, 直火では使用しないください, which means don't use in an oven or with direct flame.
The line above it is 電子レンジでの使用はレンジの取扱説明書に従い, which as near as I can tell says "follow directions for using in a microwave". I dunno it sounds like it's okay for a microwave but I'm not 100% sure, I mean "directions" what "directions"? When I'm using a microwave I just set the timer and let it go.
And I know what you mean about a LOT of instructions. A friend of mine once said, "For people that don't talk much, the Japanese like to explain EVERYTHING!"
And if anybody else looked at my interpretations and is saying, "No, Mark, you're full of shit, that isn't what it says." Feel free to jump in, you're not going to hurt my feelings and we're all here to learn, right?

onomatopoeia
Yes they exist I never used one but I'm sure they exist, there's many kinds of dictionaries at my university... like one solely for adverbs. I would guess the onomatopoeia dict's would be pretty damn big since Jpns has so many of those words...
