I started with Utada, then Ayumi, then BoA.

The groups are nice but they are distinctly different from the solo acts.

I thought BoA's from Korea? anyways, I just got one last 2 weeks, it has got soundtracks from Yamato Nadeshiko, Love Story, Summer Snow, S.O.S, Beautiful Life, Ice World, Mukodono, L'aquoibonsite, Love Generation, To Heart, Overtime, With Love, Long Vacation, Love Letter, Tokyo Love Story, 101 Proposal and also two more JDoramas which i dunno the actual name. One of them, was the one acted by Takki and Nanako.. what's the name again? i know "something no something" i forgot the jap name, in chinese, it's translated into "mo nu zhi tiao jian", and then the other one was translated as "sheng zhe de jin xing" something like angel opration? duno lar, but i rather enjoy the songs from it! J songs are really good! never regretted listenin to 'em, especially OSTs! their the best!

Boa is from korea.
The first drama is majo no jouken, another is seija no koushin.

Ren : buy compilation album, exp: jpop greatest hits, all of their singers from avex, ayumi, boa, elt, dai, namie amuro......

BoA is Korean but she can sing in Japanese too. In fact her Japanese songs are better than her Korean ones IMO and they've made it to #1 on Oricon on a couple of occassions.

For me, I'm hunting for the CD that contains "Saboten no Hana", which I think is the opening theme to Under the Same Roof. I have the midi file of it:

http://www.macgeek.org/jdrama/midi/under_same_roof.mid

If some can point out the CD on an on-line store like YesAsia or CDJapan, I'd appreciate it! Smile It would be even greater if there's a karaoke version of the same song sitting around (friends tell me I'm a major ham when it comes to karaoke).

BoA is simply amazing! She even sings well in English (listen to "Lights of Seoul" on her Atlantis Princess CD).
