It was Katori Shingo. I got to gaze at him adoringly for over 1 hour with my friend, all within 10 feet from the hot bastard. During a commercial break (we went to a taping of Waratte Ii Tomo), we decided to yell "SHINGO WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!". He looked up with a look kinda like "Uh...wtf??", with a "one eyebrow up" kinda look. Nope, we didn't make a good impression, but since we were gaijin and to keep up his image, he decided to let it slide Then while we burst into laughter at our stupidity, my friend blew kisses at him and he pretended to eat them and he ran around like a dope for a second. It was FUN. Then the commercial was over right after that....

Haha. Too bad none of ya'll's knew the "Shingo Mama No Oha Rock" dance; I bet he woulda' warmed up to that, introduced himself to ya''ll's, whatever.
When Amuro Namie performed on Oahu a few years back, she paid a visit to this Okinawan cultural center which is situated in Waipio . . . which is the neighborhood immediately following my own. Sigh. Coulda' gone over, invited her over for lunch or something .
Aho', RinRin, whoever else Oahuans . . . you know that fancy Panda Cuisine dim sum restaurant along Keeaumoku? In its reception area, there are PLENTY of framed pics on the wall that show, well, mostly J-celebrities who have eaten there. I think I saw one with the owner and Shiina Ringo, there are DEFINITELY a few pics showing the owner and members of Tube (yeah, that "beach band of Japan" Tube), and a few others that I'll probably get wrong if I name here.

We didn't wait very long, well, I suppose it could have been longer. I believe we showed up at Studio Alta in Shinjuku at around 9:00 am. The show starts at noon or 1:00 I think. Basically you put your name in, they give you a ticket for "cancel machi" and tell you to come back in 30 minutes or so, I can't remember if it was 9:30 or 10:00 that they told us to come back. You can wait outside if you want, because they tend to come in that way. Shingo, the arse that he is, came in the back way...
Show your ticket when you come back, they take it and give you a number, and they let you past the ropes, then inside to wait in a stairwell in Studio Alta. You get in line by number. Then after an hour or so, they come in and tell you how many cancel machi seats are available for that day, if any at all. Once they know how many, they bring out a damn box and draw numbers out at random. I WAS THE LAST NUMBER CALLED. I got in by the skin of my @$$. After that, they check your ID to make sure you are you. Then they take you all up about 7+ flights of stairs and tell you that it's "toilet time". Everyone usually makes their phone calls at this time

As long the the "When Do You Brush Your Teeth?" thread doesn't get exhumed, I'm fine with it.

That one seems to get dug up about every 2 years.\
Its a very pressing issue.
OT: Since everyone thinks I look exactly like Aya Ueto I have to fend them off with a stick. _________________

But why not? If it's dead, does it have to stay dead? _________________
