It seems to me that Takuya embraces his sex symbol status more than Yutaka...so that may be why there's more shirtless Kimura shots out there.

Sounds right to me. Yutaka though wasnt even shirtless in Beach Boys. He was wearing a wifebeater shirt.

Beefcake?

I can understand y'all finding them handsome and talented, but neither guy is exactly muscular.

However, they all do look trim, which if that's what you mean, is cool.

Trim is where its at!!

But it still is odd that while Sorimachi ran around shirrtless in BEach Boys, Yutaka did not.

Think it was the stylists decision.

And I must admit even if its not by much........

KimuTaku loses to Sorimachi in the shirtless competition though certainly not the acting one!

As for "beefcake" my definition is what I like and what I tend to like trim but defined. (Love the pic of Takuya BTW Eve. We should have a Yutaka and Takuya thread just so we can talk and post pics about my faves without me having to jump back and forth )
But I don't use the term beefcake that much. I'll just say yummy, sexy and hott

i've been watching yutaka in Rondo...i'm really enjoying it...there's no incredibly cheesy overexplicated themes that have been beaten to death in many of the other dramas i've seen..

he is SMOOTH as ever....this guy just exudes cool...he's a pimp, man.

this is the first performance i've seen yutaka in since shotgun marriage.....
a different role obviously...

he is great.

I'm really looking forward to watching the first part this weekend. He's always really good in the dramas I've seen, and you're right that he has a nice range of roles and dramas...and he's always amazing. Hence why he is one of my favorite actors, seriously.

yeah he's got a great aura/persona...he doesn't need to be loquacious to exude the sense of charm that he obviously has.....
