Believe it or not Monta, but so far I haven't seen any dramas with Yutaka in. I really should fix that.
DO yourself a favor and check out With Love or Ruri No Shima. Guaranteed to make anyone feel better. I just finished Ruri No Shima and felt a need to pay homage here in this thread...
Complete with screen caps....
Dont miss this series, Ladies!

I don't know how I missed this post. Thanks Eve! Nice cheerful dramas and Yutaka = heaven.
@ Deirdre - this thread is definitely a must-visit for any Yutaka fans. Have you looked back at the other pages? There's tons of yummy pictures.
Hey, how did you find the subtitles on your ebay discs? Were they accurate English? *curious*

My apologies. My BF liked both series too.
But I was thinking of Keps in particular at that moment.
Here is a pic worthy of these Yutaka shrine pages.
Here's special thanks to Wynter for her fabulous drawing.
Sorry it took me so long to post it and share it with you all. (I was having problems with Photobucket for awhile. Annoying. )

Hello "Keps,"
The DVD's I purchased from ebay weren't bad at all. "Proof of the Man" and "Ice World" probably has some of most awkward reading translations, but since I'm not fluent in Japanese, I was happy just to find any of Yutaka's dramas with english subs. Any tips for pasting or attaching photos here? I'd love to share.[/img]

Anyway,
HERE HE IS!!
Welcome back Eve! This thread isn't the same without you.
OMG - Wynter drew this picture??!!! I didn't know she was so artistic - this is obviously the work of a talented artist. I'm extremely impressed.
@ Deirdre - thanks for the info.
Re: posting images - any pictures have to be hosted. You need the URL (web address of picture), and you put it between [img][/img] - use the "Img" button that is on the top right of the Post A Reply box you use when posting. Hope this makes sense.

Go to Photobucket.com I found it was pretty easy to figure out with them.
How was the pic quality for Ice World? And did you enjoy Proof Of THe MAn?
@Keps- Ive been short of web time but I still need to keep in touch with this thread!

Thanks for the instructions! Eve, I thought the picture quality for "Ice World" was great! As for "Proof of the Man," the storyline d-r-a-g-g-e-d and the opening theme song started to wear on you, but Yutaka did a great job with the role. It reminded me a little of the character he played in "Rondo"--restrained, with something just lurking under the surface. You're always wondering what the character's true demons are. I recently watched "Ruri's Island" which was great. Also, "Yankee Boku ni Kaeru" had some confusing subtitles, but I thought Yu rocked the short haircut.
I'm going to attempt to link a photo here... Enjoy![img]http://i206.photobucket[img][/img]
Wow - but *envy*. I so admire someone who can draw well. But I see from the linked page that Wynter says anyone can draw. Huh! I sure as heck haven't got an artistic bone in my body.
@ Eve - make sure you come back then, as I am now on a new search for new Yutaka pics. Oh yes. In fact, the first fruits of my labours are to follow
@ Deidre - eek, your image didn't work. It looks like you didn't put the correct code in, and you had an extra "[img]" at the end.
So, onto Yutaka pictures new -
Going for the George Michael look, maybe?
Great view of Yutaka's glorious eyes -
Yutaka and Sorimachi in the same room? Yes please.
Oh, and I recommend this thread in another forum. I don't know what the language is, but the entire thread is devoted to you-know-who and has tonnes of great pictures -

Thanks Eve.

I just started watching "Toshii." I was wondering how long I'd have to watch before Yutaka makes an appearance--I mean this series is l-o-n-g. But, it is really cool to see him in a historical drama.
Here's another treat from my YT-stash
And, another with "short hair."

Keps, I wanted to tell you that the url you posted for the other discussion thread on Yutaka is really fantastic. I think every photo I ever had of Yutaka is on that site along with hundreds of others. Lots of great screen caps too from his many jdoramas. Here's that address again in case anyone cares to check it out....
Hope everyone is having a great day! It's unmercifully hot here in Detroit but the sun is shining. Even though the floor I work on has no windows, I did stick my head outside at lunchtime. Glorious sun!! Hmmmmm, makes me think of another favorite YT photo which I personally call: Sun, Sand and Yu."

Deirdre, glad you found the link useful! I couldn't believe the amount of pictures on that thread on the other board. I do wonder what is being said, but as it seems to be hardcore Yutaka fans, I can guess.
Ooh, thanks for posting the new pictures. I especially like the one with Yutaka looking straight at the camera whilst wearing that fab dark shirt and suit.
Ooh, the beach picture - look at that seductive look on the man's face.
Lol, "Sun, sand and Yu" is a great name for that shot.
