Yutaka Takenouchi returns to film in "Wenny Has Wings" adaptation

Actor Yutaka Takenouchi is returning to the big screen after a six-year absence. He last starred in the 2001 hit "Reisei to Jounetsu no Aida" with Hong Kong star Kelly Chen. Now, he is taking the lead in an adaptation of Janet Lee Carey's "Wenny Has Wings."
Takenouchi plays the owner of a photo studio, who is married to a piano teacher (Miki Mizuno) and has two children, a girl in the fourth grade and a boy in kindergarten. They lead an ordinary and happy life until a tragic accident strains the bonds between them.
Director Shin Togashi is in charge of the movie. Sony Music Entertainment and Sundance Company are producing, with distribution to be handled by Sony Pictures. Filming begins later this month. The movie is scheduled to open during Golden Week next year.

I just went through this entire thread. Personally I like him with short hair and stubble, so all these pics with his clean shaven goodness and long hair is going to take some getting used to! _________________

Shani and I have had many a discussion about long haired and clean shaven versus short hair with scruff. While I prefer him with the former, I still love him in an elf suit!!

I hate to think that I might be responsible for everyone's neck problems (too much tilting to the right), so here's another version (enthusiastically endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association, ha ha).

Thanks Eve. Does Yutaka appear in the special at all? I saw it available for download on crunchyroll, but it didn't mention his name in the cast credits.

Here's an image from the commercial. Doesn't he look great? He always does that little pursing of the lips. I've seen it in everyone of his doramas. (Okay, now I've just revealed that I have spent inordinate amounts of time staring at Yutaka's lips....busted!!)
