Ebay is the worst place, one seller wants close to $80 for the CD, and $40 for just a single...Amazon Japan is less, but with their shipping prices Shake Head

I'll keep checking...

What's the name of it? I make a run to Book-Off (they're a Japanese chain, they sell used books, cd's dvd's etc.) every Sunday. I can check when I go there this coming Sunday.

And don't worry about them maybe not having it because it's a new release. They had the last "Dreams Come True" CD just as fast as everybody else.

The 3 CD's I'm looking for (and I only want 1 now)
̗wIsVIII~|̋{~2009

̗wIsVII~֓s~2008

̗wIsVI~ЂƂFH~2007

They list for about 2,700 Yen ($30)

The DVD which is impossible to find

ART[g~̗wIs~ 2008.9.25 [DVD]

DVD lists about 3,600 Yen ($40) actually I just noticed the DVD is being released tomorrow.

Do give you an example, for just one of those CD's, the guy on Ebay wants $79.95, that's 7,238 Yen....I can only imagine what he wants if he had the DVD.

I'm tempted to go through Amazon Japan, but I don't have much experience with them, and they want about $20 to ship. Bang Head

Well, like I said, I'll be heading over there Sunday. Let me know if you decide to go with Amazon or somebody else before then. Just a heads up, that DVD is probably region 2 so make sure your dvd player is region free or else you'll have another thing to bang your head against the wall about.

I'll wait until next week, maybe you'll see the CD.

And no worries about the DVD, I can play Region 2's. Victory! Peace!

Maybe you can select a different language? The one I got seemed to come with multiple languages (third from left in pull-down menu, then second item from top)

The mantra of most JDorama members (the ones that aren't living in Japan anyway)

We've often wondered how many great drama boxed sets are just sitting in bargain bins in CD/DVD stores in Japan.

I have purchased a lottery ticket....not that it means anything, odds of winning are 1 in a ba-jillion.

I put in a buck or two each week for the company's lotto purchase... I think we've netted about $17.00 this year... Hardly plane fare. Sad

Well, I just looked over at CD Japan, and they have the CDs and DVDs, and they seem to be reasonably priced....even their shipping is not that bad....decisions decisions...

Anyone have experience using them to ship to the States?

I have made a number of purchases from CD Japan... especially when Mai_K comes out with a new DVD. I also buy from YesAsia. What I've found is that for most items, the prices and shipping come out the same for both merchants. CDJapan is cheaper initially but their shipping is a little higher than YesAsia. However, YesAsia has a higher price tag for the identical item; then they ship it for $3. So both companies end up with the same overall price. Strangely, even though YesAsia has a warehouse in California, I get my CDJapan purchases much quicker than YesAsia.
