Idiots who fill up with reg gas at the only diesel pump. I can never understand why in our area, land of the big rigs do they only have one everywhere and big lines. Shake Head

Today with 10 pumps free some geezer, (Not our Geezer) cuts in front of our truck while we are circling round the pump in our big truck, another farm truck is behind us and another behind him. And its late and waiting ten minutes means finishing chores in the dark. Anyway it didnt work for me. So I hopped out and went up to him and asked if he was getting deisel and he said no. So I told him he had cut me off and there were 10 empty reg gas pumps free (big station). He asked if i was asking him to move. And I said "YES!"
Well he got offended and left entirely.
And I got smiles and thumbs up from the other diesel users!! Victory! Peace!
Bets he would have had to clean all his windows slowly too..... Shake Head

Eve, that was pretty gutsy of you!! But you had the diesel truck guys to back you up plus your husband!! Thumbsup Some people have absolutely no common sense or consideration....

Well he didn't have a gun rack. Also common round here. Beaten
But I don't have a problem pointing out the obvious to the thoughtless. My husband freaks out sometimes because he can be so polite. But he doesn't think I'm wrong either. Victory! Peace!

When somebody says:

"that's NOT the most important line from this story".

And then they don't tell you what IS most important.

Heh! I got a little pissed off. Sorry about the crude tone of my reply. Still, if you read the article you should be able to distill the most important message. Say, the surprise of scientists to find such a high radioactivity in tuna. Say the disaster that caused this... I'm not for media hypes, but this article wasn't like that. It made me sad.

That's cool. The thing is, the day this story broke one of the local TV stations had one of their news reporters at a sushi restaurant interviewing people asking them if they were afraid or worried, stuff like that. The way she was carrying on I almost expected her to tell people that anybody eating sushi would probably be glowing in the dark before they got home. Typical media overreaction. Beat You
