oh no 'big brother' starts again tonight!
It's been running for a few weeks here. This year's crop is your usual bunch of models and personal trainers, with zero personality. Not worth watching
You're lucky. Overall, you haven't missed anything, and you are probably a smarter person for it.
I'm not really into Reality Shows. I mean, the only one I watch consistently is So You Think You Can Dance, and American Idol periodically. _________________

In Holland, they're having a big controversy about a reality show where a woman that needs a liver transplant picks from 3 people which one will donate their liver to her. The TV network says it's not about ratings or sensationalism, it's to publicize the need for organ donors. (Yeah, right)

A need... but the woman gets to hand pick?! Someone got their wires screwed up. _________________

Row grows over Dutch organ donor show
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - The Dutch government criticized plans to air a reality television show during which a dying woman chooses a recipient for her kidneys, saying on Tuesday that the show was unethical.
"The intention of the program to get more attention for organ donation may be applaudable," said Dutch Education and Culture Minister Ronald Plasterk.
"However based on the information I now have, the program appears to me to be inappropriate and unethical because it is a competition," said Plasterk, who is a molecular biologist and former chief of the Dutch Cancer Institute.
A government spokesman said there was no law banning the live reality television show, which will be produced by Endemol, famed for its "Big Brother" and "Fear Factor" reality TV shows.
Edit: sorry, I had it wrong, it's kidney, not liver
