I won't trade the car in, since the dealer won't give me squat for the car... I'll probably sell it to one of my nephews or a relative...

Any thought about donating it and using it as a tax write off?

I heard they're really cracking down on that and you have to jump through all kinds of hoops to have the value of the car certified... Besides, I think I could get more by selling it than donating it.

LOL, but people would complain again, saying you abuse your mod power and stuff.. Rolling eyes Like that one time when someone accused you of going over the size limit of pictures when you zap sigs without warning. Smile

All they have to do is read and understand the guidelines... If they can't do that, it's their problem, not mine... If they don't understand, they shouldn't be afraid to ask questions... Smile

I used to PM people and give them time to change it, but they just ignored the PMs, so now I delete 'em right away and tell 'em why.

Public humiliation is a great attitude adjuster. Beaten

That's true, I publically humiliate my students. Beaten

But I think it's fair to warn them once through PM first. If they don't listen, then go ahead and zap. This way no can say you're abusing your power, because they didn't listen in the first place and therefore didn't take the responsibility.

Ohhhhhhhh! I didn't give an opinion on her tho... I just thought it was in bad taste to bash someone "just cause". Bleah

Yeah, the 318ti didn't sell particularly well here, but BMW didn't market it very enthusiastically either.

      Dopes.

I tried that initially: I sent out numerous PMs to people regarding their avatars and sigs and most of 'em never replied or made the corrections...

Then once Genma gave us the power to whack any avatar or sig, it was open season... Twisted

As far as I'm concerned, they can cry and throw tantrums all they want: It's their responsibility when joining a message board to read the rules and not just post away like an idiot...

Like driving a car, using the message board is a privilege, not a right. Wink
