OHHHHHHHH is THAT what you're talking about? I'm talking about these that ralph and I refer to as sleeves: http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=&webid=486114&affixedcode=WW

Tried going to your staples link. They want a Canadian zip code. Sweat Grumble

I have wallets and sleeves. Sleeves for sending out dramas etc. Wallets for home storage. The 200+ capacity book like containers are officially called wallets which is misleading of course. Doh!
I get my wallets at either WalMart or Ross (for less). Both have them at reasonable prices. Sleeves I get from that tech supply that Cori gave a link too. Victory! Peace!

I'll have to check that out.

I've got around 250 dramas or so, but in the early days I had to burn them to CDs. It was cheaper than $40 for a blank DVD, but bulky. No more than 2 episodes per CD. I'm waiting for the Blu-ray's price to go down and I'll reburn everything. The writer are affordable, but the discs are around $25 a piece. Sad

Ah, now I understand why you have "boxes." Boy, am I glad I got into collecting J-dramas in the DVD era. Oh wait...I was actually collecting Jdramas in the VHS era!! Bonk How could I forget those ton of boxes and plastic containers that I have. Doh! Of course, I've thrown out a lot of VHS tapes because I've replaced a lot of them with DVDs. Victory! Peace!

That's my favorite sleeve supplier also. Just bought 600 on a special from them a couple of months ago.

Gave up cases 2 years ago when my collection became crazy unwieldy. Keep all DVDs in 200+ capacity wallets now. I'm on my 6th wallet.
Victory! Peace!

This was my first time ordering from that supplier. It sounds really reasonable and I hope that the shipping doesn't take too long.

I couldn't see the pic that Wyn linked either. Sad

What type of sleeves and wallets do you use, Ralph? I've only been using those things that I call sleeves. I'm not too fond of wallets (or whatever they're called because I like being able to sort dramas in a flash, rather than flipping pages and looking for things and re-alphabetizing when you get a new series. I guess that's just me though.

Just enter h0h 0h0. It's Santa's postal code, but it works. hehe They use it to adjust their price, depending where you are located.

I use the single sleeves like the ones I sent to you in the last drama.

Now that you can use that zip 'h0h 0h0' you can see what my wallet looks like.
As far as sorting, I keep an inventory in an office data base pointing to the wallet number. In the wallet itself, I use transparent tabs at the page edge with the drama name so I can find it in any wallet in less than 10 seconds by the tabs. Victory! Peace!

What bothers me is that this forum doesn't have a thread directory like some of the other forums that I've been to, so it's hard to find what topics there are without looking through every single page. Maybe instead of bitching, I should make one? Beaten (By the way, thanks for directing me into the right thread, beem! Smile )

The Search Engine works reasonably well... If you use it enough.

Practice makes perfect. Big Grin

I'm guessing that what bothers you are lazy people (like me Beaten ) who don't use the search function, right? Wink

NNNNNNnnnnnnnnnnnnGaaaaaaaaaahhh!

SKUNKS!!!!

Jeeze I hate skunks.

My dog went after one in the backyard four days ago and got a full load square in the face for his trouble.

Well, I deskunked him, and was finally able to wash the "cure" off this morning, and just now my freakin' cat came to the window, blinking away and acting like the world had ended.

Yup, she got skunked as well, and she got into my house before I realized what had happened.

So now my house reeks of it. I had to apply the cure, which is a heavy foam made of soap, baking soda, and peroxide (try wiping that on an already pissed off cat) -- and for my troubles, she tore gouges through my arms.

And for those lucky enough never to have smelled it, skunk doesn't just stink. It'll make you sick to your stomach for days.

Man, when all is said and done, I wonder if living in the city was really that bad.

^ Oh, my. That really stinks! (boo!! bad pun!)

The only skunk that I've ever encountered was Pepe le Pew, of Looney Tunes fame, so I wouldn't know the first thing about the smell, but from your description, it disgusting. bleh Your poor dog and cat, and *ugh*, the house too? The only good thing to come from this is at least now they know not to mess with skunks.

Oh dear oh dear. You must hang around with smarter dogs and cats than I.

There's a reason I know the exact proportions of the skunk-smell cure without having to look it up in a book.

This dog and this cat are both over 10 years old. Twice skunked a year for each would be a good year. (And it's worse if the cat actually kills the skunk. You can smell that half a mile away.)

Of course, the idiot dog I had before this one actually loved to hunt for skunks in particular. I went though a lot of skunk smell cures with that dog before I found the formula that actaully works.

And by the way... before I moved out of Brooklyn my contact with skunks was limited to Pepe le Pew as well. I long to go back to those days.

Yikes. That stinks. The smell always makes me gag. I had a close encounter once, but the beast was more interested by the garbage can than me. Sweat

There was one and maybe even one for each section, but they're gone. IIRC, aho made em. Confused

Yuck! I feel your pain! There was a stink livinig under the portable I taught civics in, and the smell was infuriating. Made me lose my apetite for lunch.
