Don't know really what is his role... Anyway, in his "web", there are a lot of more doramas that he has been involved in, but I really don't know his role in any of them... And I'd like, cause he is the brother of Yoshiki Hayashi... and so... Sad

Yamato Nadeshiko is still my all time favorite drama. Bow Applaud w00t!

Nanako was so beautiful in this drama and acted out the charachter extremely well. This is the only drama I have seen Shinichi in but I thought he was fantastic for the part too. This drama really made me care for all of the characters. I felt so bad for Akiko Yada's charachter Wakaba. I think when you really forget you are watching a drama and really start t root for charchters to succeed you have a special show.

I hope everyone will vote for this show as a favorite. It is now number 12 and should easily be able to make the top 10 if the fans all decide to vote.

Yeah, that's the next dorama I want to watch, but I don't have a copy.

I know that the ratings for this series were high, with the ending episode having over a 35% viewership. I'm wondering if the last episode had any ill effects on the audience or if it was "to be expected."

I enjoyed most of the series, but was totally put off by the ending.

Dunno how I missed this one, but just started watching it and it's definitely a keeper!! Thumbsup

First episode was only so-so, but I figured if worse comes to worse, at least I can watch Nanako and Akiko Yada for 11 episodes. But in the 2nd episode Shinichi's character took shape and this one really took off. Applaud

This drama is so good that I watched all episodes in 1 day and totally fell in love with it. Gave it full ratings and still remains as one of my best dramas all the time.
Nanako is just that good.

I just realized Yada's future ex-husband Oshio Manabu is in this as well. I guess she couldn't see the signs. Shake Head

Okay, finished this one, real good drama! Applaud

I only had two complaints, one they had control of, and that is Nanako's character was a little over the top sometimes as a selfish b-i-a-tch.

The other one they didn't have control over. Part of the last episode was filmed in New York. In a couple scenes you can see the World Trade Center. This was filmed in 2000 and I couldn't help thinking, "If only, , ,"

The Osuke character is amazingly well designed and played.

He is a mathematician: a little spacey, quite maximalist, not really concerned too much with this world, and yet keenly able to appreciate and obsess over female beauty. And a pure mathematician to boot: all the financial-derivatives stuff really isn't for him.

I too was a math student. I can assure you all the mathematics and mathematicians in this drama are handled extremely well!
