kawaii ne, agree wif u. i like him to be my petto .
You're right. He's sooo kakkoi! But that wasn't too nice, when Momo did wrong thigs with Sumire's photo. But I understand his feelings. He's was only a little envy. I would be envy too, if I were in his place. _________________

Of course, Matsujun as Momo is kakkoiiii! Needs no explanations, ne? When he was acting like a dog, giving his hand to Sumire goshujinsama .... waaah, let's hug you!
But I also liked the psychiatrist ... he was kind of funny (needs his own psychiatrist, hehe^^). Scene: He, his little dog, cup noodles in the abandoned bureau .... one of my favourite scenes^^.
The only person I REALLY didn't like was Hasumi-sempai. I first read the Manga and then watched the dorama and when I first saw Hasumi-sempai, is was disappointed ... how could they have chosen him?!
But never mind, that's my opinion^^.
I liked the cast. Koyuki and Matsujun looked good together. I also like the other roles except Hasumi senpai! They could have picked a better/more handsome actor like Kenji or Ito Hideaki to suit Koyuki's heights and beauty. That would have made the plot more realistic. As I saw it, Matsujun was definitely the 'one' for Sumire eventhough he's just a little shorter. The story should have ended on a better note though, I mean I would prefer that Koyuki's and Matsujun's relationship ending as more than a pet and a master relationship. I see this trend in most japanese drama where the conclusion always spoils the 'good' feelings that was built up during the whole series. Kimi was no exception. But on the whole, it was worth watching because I discovered 2 gems - the main leads. Koyuki was impressive and beautiful while Matsujun was iresistably cute and adorable. With their on-screen presence, we forgot the unrealistic storyline but instead got hooked on watching their antics and slow plodding towards a romance they were destined to have together. Go watch it and see what I mean.

OMG i want him as my pet too!! of course, haha that goes without saying!! i also didnt like hasumi-senpai, he was so dense, and why did she keep calling him senpai even after they were dating?! it was like they never really got on the more intimate level. and she never told him the truth and then he flipped out when he found out the truth, but he was so dumb about that girl who so obviously wanted to get into his pants... then again at least he didnt comply. but still, it was just weird. like when he jumped on her in that episode when they went on that company trip and then momo saw.... that was so sad. grrrrr. i would so choose momo over hasumi-senpai. then again thats prollly cuz jun is closer to MY age... and im crazy about him! ^_^ _________________

Seeing SYILA78's avatar - couldn't they have chosen Kimutaku as Hasumi Sempai? He would fit the role MUCH MUCH MUCH better, don't you think so?
@sawadasmile: I also don't know, why she still called him sempai, but I have all the mangas at home and looked it up and there she also called him sempai all the time. I think, they wanted to make as near as possible in that point (to keep the same relationships as in the manga, bla ... no plan).

Shinobu,
i agree wif u if kimurakun be hasumi sempai hontoni kakkoi. i rather sumire call him sempai coz they really don't look like a sweet couple at all. i like her better with momochan _________________

hmm well i think they didn't pick a major guy to play hasumi senpai because it's kinda a small supporting role only. to pick kimura would be a waste i think. or maybe if they did pick a star they'd have more hasumi senpai scenes. i think ito hideaki woulda been a good hasumi senpai. tall and cool _________________

@ ladyusagi: you're right. if they had chosen Kimura Takuya, there would be more scenes with him expected ... or Sumire ending up with him ... No, not a good choice.
Ito Hideaki - that's the Umizaru guy, isn't it? Hmm ... to be honest, I don't think he's the "sempai" type Sumire would like ... he looks more like a best friend she has known since ever. What do you say to Fujiki Naohito? He's so kakkoi and a cool guy *faints*!

@ Ayum...: Read the manga! I first read the manga and I really LOVE it, so I asked a friend, if there's also an anime, when she told me, that it has a dorama ... I really like the dorama, but I think, the manga is still best. They make the relationship between Sumire and Momo much more clearer.
I don't know, how many they already have in English, but on September 13th, there will be No. 13 in Japan!!! And it is not finished yet ...

I've seen the DVD special on Kimi Wa Petto that showed the action behind the scenes. From what I saw, my impression was that Koyuki had a very warm relationship with Matsujun and the other casts EXCEPT the 'Hasumi senpai' actor. Koyuki was seen to joke & talk warmly to everyone, especially her co-star Matsujun and acted like a 'senpai' to him while she was equally friendly to the other actors/actresses! However, there was no clips to show her ever talking to Hasumi senpai outside the 'drama scenes' at all. And no she was not acting like a madonna. Far from it, she was humble and friendly and even gave acting tips to one of the actress (the one who was the psychiatrist's girlfriend) in a scene. So, I think, Koyuki too was not happy with the Hasumi senpai actor but of course being a professional, she had to do her best. Anyway, thanks to her talent, the drama was and is still one of the best I've seen so far. Want to see more of her this year. Agree?
