Heh, that wouldn't even faze me.

What would be terrifying would be to sit through all of G.W. Bush's speeches to the nation... A fate worse than death.

I can arrange that... *gets the black suit, gets the car, gets some company*

But before that... I'll make the G. W. Bush speeches gansta rap and you'll have to listen to it!

I can handle that series. Heck I enjoy watching movies that doesn't involve thinking...

For those of you who are interested in Samurai films, there's a recently published book entitled Stray Dogs and Lone Wolves, written by Patrick Galloway, about this particular genre of film. This book ( 9" X 7" paperback, 235 pages long) is written from the perspective of a fan rather than a critic. The first few chapters offer background info while the majority of the book offers synopses and related info on more than 50 films. Some of his observations are quite banal, but overall, I enjoyed perusing this book. I would definitely recommend it to those who have little or only a rudimentary knowledge of chambara films. Those of you who are quite knowledgeable will probably discover a few facts or read about a movie or two you might not have known about.

Bumping this thread. Smile

Been watching a lot of old 60's and 70's Shaw Brothers wuxia/kung-fu films... Man, that Shih Szu is a cutie. Smile

Nah...

Shih Szu is more cute/pretty than gorgeous/beautiful.

But she can serve out some serious whoop-ass. Applaud

Another very good wuxia film:

There's some cheesy wire work, but very good action at the end... Shih Szu rocks. Thumbsup
