I went to my favorite health food store recently looking for wasabi flavored rice crackers, which they didn't have, but the store manager told me about a new bottled beverage made from Lychee fruit and Wasabi! Shocked He told me that the customers who have tried it are addicted to it. The company that makes it also has Lemon Ginger - Capsaicin spiced elixir and Pomegranate Black Pepper. If you are interested it is made by Prometheus Springs. They even have cocktail recipes on their website. Drunk

Summer came abnormally early where I live (though we'll probably have to get used to it. climate change is the enemy! *shakes fist*), so I thought I'd share my top 3 summerlicious refreshments: (Douglas' sangria came a close fourth! Victory! Peace!)

1) Sago at gulaman (caramelized brown sugar syrup on shaved ice, with tapioca balls and gelatin cubes)
2) Ripe mango shake
3) Halo-halo!

I guess this is the appropriate thread. The red in this map indicates where there are more bars than grocery stores. Yellow more grocery stores than bars.

People in the midwest/upper midwest need all the help they can get to get through those longwinters. Drunk

Notice how your map correlates nicely with the most economically worthless part of the country, namely the Rust Belt. For the most part manufacturing is dead...it's all about Made in China. Let us not forget that most of these corporations which have shipped jobs overseas are the very constituents that are the backbone of the Republican Party. They are all about America right?

You could probably substitute "rusted out pickup truck" for "beer" and get the same results.

Two of my favorite Rieslings. I shared a bottle with my friends this weekend over dinner on Sunday.
